Pyriel walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of baked mac and cheese . Funkle when did you get here?

Garfunkel turns to see Pyriel with a steaming pile of... Mac, in his hands. "PYRIEL!! Heeeeey.. Umm, let's uhh see here..." He says pulling up his fingers... He begins counting on his hands and says,".. Uh, about six Sexy Islands ago." he says giving a crooked smile to Pyriel. The bartender overhears this and yells down the row,"I already told you! It's a LONG ISLAND!!! No Woman Named Salma Hayak ever renamed it "Sexy Island"!!!!" Garfunkel simply turns back to Pyriel and shrugs,"What's happening old man?"

Guile takes a fresh glass with somehow real(awesome bartender) whiskey and soda, and takes the seat next to Garfunkel. Before doing so, he gives the guy a pat on the back and a nod with a smile of respect to Pyriel.

With a laugh, "How's it feel being the muppet of Starfleet? Got those nice, shiny pips there, buddy!"

"It's a helluva rush, lemme tell ya..." he says, reaching out to grab a peanut out of a bowl with no success. In the next few moments, Funkel falls off his stool, hits his head on the floor, and slowly crawls back onto the stool, using it as support so as not to fall again. "Yeah, I came here to take me and mine off the.... Burp... Radar for a spell, but it seems to me that the Federales have caught up to me and my shenanigans..." he says. Realizing that he could still remember what day it was, he ordered another drink, Double Rum and Coke. "I look forward to a lightened work shhhhhhhedual soon as......" he trails off as he sees a nice Orian woman in tight pants walk up, order, and sit down at a table; during which he nearly falls off the stool again.

Guile continues to drink slowly. "Pace yerself, lad."

Pyriel just shakes his head and walks around the bar and sits the bowl down and sits down . So any know whats been going on lately on the station i have been kinda out of the loop. Which is kinda weird for me.

"PAH!!!" Funkel shouts, attracting the attention of many a patron. He turns to Pyriel,"The head of Intelligence is out of the loop... Iiiiiiiironic...." he says jokingly, taking just a sip of the R&C. "Well, most of her crew has been either.... Well, actually... I'm not sure... That's what uh your here for." At this point, Garfunkel realized in the back of his mind that this was an important conversation, and he needed to be a tad bit more... Focused... Garfunkel frantically starts patting himself down, starting from his face for some reason. He eventually comes down to his lower pants pocket and pulls out a hypospray labeled "This better be important" and pushes it against his neck. Immediately the substance begins to clear up the haze in his train of thought. He shakes his head and slaps himself a couple times and starts again,"Sorry about that one, got slightly out of hand there. Anyway, seems that most of the station's crew has been pushed to almost wartime levels of operation. Command has dropped the proverbial shit on our heads, and it has nowhere to go but down the chain. Some new restructuring and some other nonsense has made moral around here an all-time low. Crazy stuff." he says, sipping again, now able to taste the potency of the drink. "Not to mention the recent leave of Admiral Cannons, and some others."

Pyriel takes a bite of his Mac and cheese, then sighs as his communicator starts to vibrate. Excuse me I’ll be back in a few. He stands up and walks into the kitchen. You suddenly hear the sound of pots clanging and dishes braking and a slew of cuss words come flying out of the kitchen. You see a very pissed of Pyriel storm out of the kitchen and plop back down at the table.

Garfunkel clears his throat, attempting to break the awkward silence as many of the people in the bar now stared at Mac and Cheese eating man. "... Well, uh, what was that all about?"

Sigh according, to powers that be at S.F.I there is such a shortage of personnel, my discharge has been repealed. I have been reinstated as an admiral of the fleet. They offered me command of the station but I told them where they could stick it if they want me that bad I will come back as a Captain. S.F Command agreed They said they need as many good commanders as they could get and do to my knowledge of this station and this Quadrant I will be stationed back here as Intel officer. Like the old saying goes” JUST WHEN I THINK I’m OUT, THEY DRAG ME BACK IN!” Damn it I was just getting used to being retired. Sigh I need to send a message to Jonjah and let her know I won’t be heading back to Atlanta any time soon. Pyriel slumps down further into his seat and sighs.

"Wehehehehellll then..." Garfunkel says, motioning to the Barhop,"Sounds like you're gonna be busy for a while, what with the catching up and such..." At that momebt the barkeep rolls up with three Kamikazees (The drink, not the Bear), and sets them down. "Ahhh yes... Remember that time Abernathy and his girl almost got the station blown up? Yeaaaaah, you're gonna need this..." He says sliding the beverage in front of him. He passes the other to Guile.

Sigh ,guess your right Pyriel takes the drink and chugs it then stands up . Guess I better go get into uniform, Pyriel heads for the stairs to his apartment .

Taking the drink, Guile remained in listening mode, soaking up whatever information there was. He was about as relaxed as he could be, being comforted with the feeling that things may look better in teh future after all.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up, "Hey, I wonder if that Romulan doctor lady is around..."

A few mins later Pyriel walks down the stairs in a freash uniform Intel Black with Command red piping around the collor and a serenity patch on the shoulder. Well never thought I would end up back in one of these anytime soon, Pyriel says to no one in particular. He reaches up and taps his com badge , Ops This is Captian Danto, I have been placed in command of Serenity's Intel Department again . A young male voice comes over the com. (Uh Sir we thought you .......Uh retired ) Yeah so did I, But I guess we were all wrong. (What can we do for you sir?) Search the registry for any ships that have been recently decommissioned and have the list sent to me. (Uh may I ask why sir?) Son, do I have to explain myself to you ? Suddenly an female voice takes over.(Sir this is Lt.Cdr Talika Al-Amin ,your orders will be followed to the letter and i will remind this young LT. who you are.) Thank you LT. Commander we will have to catch up later , send the list to my Office. (Will do sir) Sigh kids , pyriel turns and sits back down at the table with Guile and Garfunkle. Leave for a little while and people forget how to follow orders, what the hell is this place comeing too.

Guile throws his hands up, "Don't look at me, I've been a little pre-occupied with other shenanigans."

Guile gets up, "Well my friends, I'll be in touch. Have to push out for an outer sector patrol. Be seeing ya soon."

Pyriel hears a beep from his pad and sees a list of ships appear , he waves at Guile as he starts a way . Take it easy Guile ,I will have my hands full going this list of ships and officer canidates. Sigh most of my old crew have ships of their own . Oh well.

"Later Guile, have fun with your patrols. Try not to pull an Enterprise out there. Ya know, stay away from the deadly viruses and giant world eating ships and such!" Funkel says as Guile made his way to the door. "What I'm trying to say is, just try to stay out of trouble out there." He smiles and raises his drink in a farewell fashion.

After a few mins Pyriel looks up from his padd , so Garfunkle what have you been doing to keep yourself busy?

Funkel chuckles,"Being and Admiral...." he says grinning. "As you know it occupies most of your time.... That and the crew; your crew." he says somewhat less enthusiastically. "It's been a more out of body experience these last few months more than anything. Felt like I wasn't even here at all. Now that I've got my head above water again I feel like I might be able to stay that way." He says seeing a familiar name at a glance over Pyriel's padd. "The Knight how's what's she doing on the list? Haven't taken her out in ages it seems."

Says here she is in for a complete systems overhaul , and refit. I guess it was just time. The look on Pyriel's face becomes thoughtful , has anyone heard from Reanna or anyone from her crew?

"Come to think of it, I haven't heard much from anybody recently. Though if I had to guess, I'd be willing to bet she's out there sailing around looking for trouble." He says with a smile,"Because I totally would."

Pyriel smiles knowingly, yeah knowing her she is out there somewhere looking for trouble. Still going down the list of ships, hmmm there seems to be a lot of Intrepid class and Akira class on the list both have good solid frames that refit well. What do you think Funkle, which ever I choose it will need to be able to handle a cloaking system?Pyriel finishes scrolling down the page and comes to the last name on ship on the list. This looks interesting, it’s an Intrepid class that was in the middle of refit and the shipyards were attacked. They never finished the ship, it has been sitting derelict for the last couple of years now. It’s not that far off, hmmmmmm. Pyriel taps his com badge, Capt. Danto to Lt. Cdr. Al- Amin. (This is Al-Amin how can I help you sir?) I’m about to send you a ship name I need you to have it towed to our refit yards. Also do you know where Cdr. Faye Valentine and Cdr. Vorca Johnson are stationed at this time? (Last time I talked to Cdr. Johnson she was stationed at the Utopia shipyards helping upgrade the fleet to transwarp drives, and Cdr. Valentine I will have to do some research to find her sir. ) Pyriel stands up and grabs up all of his data padds, when everyone is here I need you three to report to my office. (Yes sir, it’s might take a couple of days for everyone to get here.) That’s no problem Lt. Cdr. The information on the ship send it to my office please. (Will do sir.) Well Funkle if you need me I will be in my office , Pyriel heads for the door .

"Hmmm, well, I've always been a fan of the Intrepid. It has a kind of sleekness and ferociousness about it. Almost like it is saying 'Go ahead, see what happens.' If you know what I mean." Funkel says taking a sip of his beer, ordered minutes ago. "On the other hand, you could really F someone up with the gratuitous amount of torpedo tubes on the Akira... And as far as I know both are cloak capable."

Pyriel hears Funkle as he is walking to the door yeah i think i will go with the intrepid refit. If you need me I will be in my office.
