Kincaid Foster goes by the name, Cade. Not to be related to any 20th century media, his name hails from a long line of Irish descent.
Personal History:
Age, 29. From a family of miners, explorers, and Starfleet personnel. Shares a passion of exploration and drinking. A graduate of Starfleet Academy, majoring in astrometrics and theoretical non-linear physics. Has proven merit upon several occasions. Proceeded thru the ranks of Starfleet by pure service record.
Growing up on Utopia Planetia, Foster spent most of his time, like most young people, involved in engineering specific activities. Research and exploration were the order of business. Like most youth raised there, he enjoyed a fascination with the exploring of the "stars" thru warp navigation. His parents were both scientists and developers of the Sovereign Class design. The simple notion of the ship, drived him thru the Academy to request a post on board such a ship. Though first restricted to a Galaxy, he was later able during his career to find his way to the Echo Burning, although under a different name. Joining as a Lieutenant, he was present for Guile's arrival. The two quickly formed a bond, that has lasted to the present. During the incident in the outlying sectors of Federation borders, Foster had ascertained the rank of Commander before Guile. The latter had attained the full rank of Commander literally four weeks before the incident. Foster sat in the Captains chair for literally four minutes before a massive surge near the secondary Science station rendered him unconscious. Although surpassed by Guile by chance, Foster remains in absolute confidence of his personal mission in Starfleet: To better the galaxy, thru his own actions.
Current Orders:
Commander of USS Echo Burning, NCC-87424. Would have been in command during Borg Incursion, but not due to injury. Guile and Foster share the same rank, but work together in position. Will be Captain of the Echo Burning, after Guile's departure. This is due to time in service, merit. Orders for Commander Foster and Guile for promotion are pending, yet circumstances of each differ.
more to follow.
