Starfleet Intel Starship Databases

This is where we are going to start a Database of known ship designs, both Starfleet & Klingon.

J. Ford has shown an interest in doing this, and I like the idea.



Also,
When STO comes out, I will be making another database using only STO base starship specs.

I would like everyone that gets a new type of ship to add to this. (kinda like wiki style) That way we can have a database of basic ship specs and options for new members (it also will draw attention to our fleet and stir interest in recruitment if we have a database like that available to the public.)

We may be lacking in Klingon specs to begin with, but those will come over time.

A unique, technologically advanced shuttlecraft, the Delta Flyer was designed to withstand the atmosphere of a gas giant.

Conceived by Commander Tom Paris as a 24th-Century "hot rod," the Delta Flyer's design and construction was a collaborative effort among Voyager crew members, and represents their diverse backgrounds. It features ultra-aerodynamic contours, parametallic hull plating, a tetraburnium alloy hull, unimatrix shielding, and Borg-inspired weapons systems, including photonic missiles.

Duranium in its hull makes the craft especially robust under extreme conditions. Paris gave the high-tech machine an old-fashioned touch by incorporating ancient control levers and readouts, all inspired by his "Captain Proton" holodeck program.

While ships like the Hind, the Arrow and the Runabout Type Two handle the Challenger’s heavy lifting for away missions the Archangel handles nearly all of the medium range and load tasks.

Similar to the Type 9 Shuttle in size and intended use the Archangel shuttle is one of the newer of the Starfleet vessels, designed to operate both in space and in atmospheric conditions. Out of all of the Challenger’s shuttle compliment the Archangel is the oldest of the designs and has seen the most service everywhere from land bases to pulling in passenger and cargo duty at Starbases and Orbital Platforms.
