Back on track: Zoe's first impression of Wash...can't recall the exact quote, but she didn't like him and didn't trust him. She strongly recommended against hiring him.

In the TOS episode "A Taste of Armageddon", Kirk and Spock take an Eminian woman prisoner, preventing her from entering one of the disintegration stations. Later in the episode, Spock takes the Enterprise security detail to track down Kirk and leaves the woman in the care of an armed yeoman. Two-parter: What was the Eminian woman's name, and what specific activity did Spock instruct the yeoman to make sure didn't occur?

The lady's name is Mea 3, and if memory serves the Yeoman was instructed to insure that Mea 3 didn't report to the disentegration chambers after being "listed" as a casualty from a simulated attack from neighboring planet Vendikar.
