Fleet Starbases

I have to admit the quarters on my Cruiser are perfectly acceptable to me, I can't sleep planetside and even starbases don't feel quite right if you know what I mean.

If your Captain's quarters are currently being renovated, surely you could use your holodeck to create a nice luxury hotel room.

I am looking forward to the Starbases and happy to concentrate my time on any related tasks that the fleet requires of me, however I wish there was some way of utilising the ships that I currently have Mothballed and actually be an Admiral and be in charge of several ships at once.

Speaking of quarters, I really hope I can finally get a key to the bathroom. I'm really tired of having to go down to the crew lounge and using the "public" shower and restroom facilities. It makes no sense to me that Star Fleet command can't seem to get me the security access I need to use my own bathroom, or head, as we like to call it.
If this isn't resolved soon I am going to have engineering install a micro transporter in my under shorts to take care of the problem.

I've had one of those for years, it is wonderful!

Oh the Armitage Class looks good.
Although I would like an NX interior option for the NX class ship.

I'm right there with you! I would also like to see a true defiant interior, the correct interior for the delta flyer and the type eight shuttle. Of course the ablity to customize my ready room and Captian's quarters would be nice too!

custom radio room and ship quatars or decks would be what id like ti see first the historic bridges for the other ships would be nice but that was 80 years ago right theis new ships would be changed or up graded

All nice touches, but more story line content would be my top priority

More storyline content would of course be great, I enjoyed the new Dominion storyline and eagerly awaited each new episode.

But more customisation of ships would be good, currently the NX class can be exactly the same as an Ody, despite the size differences. The TOS interior has some nice touches, being able to close the Blaster shutters and being able to use Jefferies tubes

The Defiant interior is nice in that it is different from a shuttle or a larger ship.

Additional DOFF missions when onboard gives a bit of reason to look at the interior of your ship.

Another nice touch would be that if you manually Dock your ship at ESD, you perhaps appear at the shipyard or something rather than simply using the transporter as you would if you simply "dock" when you are still outside.

I agree that that these are simply nice touches and more end game content such as the fleet starbases or more storyline content is more important.

On that note I have around 150k Dilithium if needed.

Also should we all be saving our Data Samples for the starbases? I noted on the chat where someone said you would be daft to be crafting as Data Samples will be needed for the bases.

It would be nice to accually have Pyriel's office on base.

I would love it if we had someway to go directly to the shipyard from orbit the way we do on the Kleenex side. In orbit around Quonos you can beam down to First City but if fly away from Quonos towards the space dock out towards the debris field you'll get an option to beam directly to the shipyard. Would love an option like that at ESD!

I'm basically saving up every currency and crystal, and anomaly I have until we figure out what's needed exactly, although, the introduction of Fleet Marks will also be a complication, but an understandable one from what I have read from the STO articles in how the Devs want these bases to develop over time.

ANd yet some fleet will probably manage to get a fully built out station in less than a day, lol.

Ah yes the fleets that somehow have the ablity to go without sleep! I suspect sales of five hour, monster, rockstar and booty sweat will jump a thousand percent.

Yeah, I would expect that too. but building a proper base will be fun, and give me an excuse to run my Sci and Tac guys again

Wait! you want that "On" the base? Dang! I was just have it tethered a couple of klicks away, just sort of dangling over there. I guess I could squeeze you in a janitor's closet or something

If it's tethered, couldn't you just squirt some industrial strength super glue around the underside of your office and plonk it on the side of the starbase's hull? You said you wanted it on the base, not in the base.

I know how we can give everbody thier own office! When aboard the starbase walk to any random section. Once there sit down on the deck and close your eyes, and imagine you are in your very own office! For that little added omph, you can mark the area off with blue painters tape!!

That would be funny if it wasn't how things worked at my real life job.

Well my freinds, Starbases are finally here! After wating years we can finally begin work to actually walk around Serenity station. As I write this I am currently in a Queue to get into the game. So if anyone has any tips, tricks, or general advice please throw them up here. Looking forward to the day that I can walk with you all aboard our new station. Shiny.

Is our base built yet? Hurry up! What's taking you so long?
