Good evening people.

Since I joined in beta the final week I certainly do not know most of the ins and outs of STO. What I did manage to decide was to be a Science officer on a Science vessel as my main character.

I was looking through the Fleet registration section actually looking for a David Weber fan group when I came across Serenity Station. Since I loved Firefly I looked into you. I figured "bonus!" a group of people who liked Firefly. Then while looking into you it appears you are basing your fleet on Science vessels. Double Bonus!

I will be basing my character off of Honor Harrington. A character from the most interesting series of scifi books I have ever read. While this character is not a Medic-type I respect the traits and characteristics that David Weber instilled in this fictional being.

My Captains name will be: Honor Stephanie Harrington

Ship's name will be: USS Fearless

As previously mentioned my knowledge of this game is limited, however I will learn it quite fast.

I have not experienced much in the terms of RP, so I am hoping that is not an app killer.

Previous MMOG from begining to most recent, EQ, Planetside, SWG (my favorite game of all time....before the dark times.....before the NGE), EQ2, WoW, Age of Conan then back to WoW again while waiting on STO.

Most of my characters have been healers/Docs so it appears to be a trend for me to be the one supporting behind the Tanks/DPSers.

This is a brief intro to me. Hopefully you will want to talk with me some to see if we would fit as a group together.

G'day All, I am Captain Kylar of the USS Slayer, formally requesting to join the Firefly Fleet and serve aboard Serenity Station.

My ship dosn't exist until tomorrow and will probably have no real capability until week 2. I like the ability to be a tank but in this game I think damage dealer is better, I also like the ability to turn!!!!

I am pretty easy going and try to spend some time on the computer when I'm not playing or training for rugby. Not sure how the time difference will go (Im in Australia) but I'm a watch keeper at a communications base so I will be on and off at all hours of the day and night.

Not sure what role I can play at the moment but can be usefull in most situations (maybe the base janitor/maintenance man!).

Other Gaming Exp: Diablo I,II, and soon III, Starcraft, Every Command and Conquer, Borderlands, Call Of Duty 2 and 4, Assasins Creed 1 and 2 and I'm sure there are many more I've forgotten about. Well this will be my first online game really.

STARTING JANUARY 29th we will be creating a Queue when inviting new members. The Queue will be first come first serve, but we are reducing the member intake to 2 members a day.


This will go into effect Tomorrow Friday January 29th and will be in effect until Monday Febuary 8th.

This is mainly for the sanity of the fleet leadership during headstart and opening of the game so that we can get the fleet set up and established in game.


We are still taking applications and interviewing members, but we are just slowing down the hammer slam of new members for a few days so that we can catch our breath.

Remember, once you have applied, you are in line. No need to re-apply.

I'm excited to get to know all of you.

Greetings!
I am formally requesting to join your fleet and serve aboard Serenity Station. As a fan of both Star Trek and Firefly, I am thrilled to find a fleet based on the two combined! I was unable to take part in open beta but have pre-ordered and hope to be in game for headstart.
My previous MMO experience ranges from everything from original EQ to WoW, and most everything between. I've played most roles, healing, dps, and most recently raid tank in WoW. I hope to return to a support/healing role in STO.
I enjoy grouping and helping others so I'm leaning toward a science vessel, but will fill what ever role is needed (proud altoholic!)

Position you might like to fill: The USS Multipass is a cruiser type starship and as such I'd be the first one in into a fight to attact unfriendlies and to help protect the science and and escort vessels in the fleet. Aside from that the want to help others and to have a good time.

Please post other gaming exp: Played way too many games but if I was jus tto narrow it down to MMO's my first mmo was Starwars Galaxies, but have also played Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Guildwars, D&D Online. I've enjoyed playing a multitude of other types of games however include Half-Life, Diablo 2, Dragon Age, Baulders Gate/Never Winter Nights... the list goes on and on

Please submit your service record: 15yrs ago I was the only survior on a ferengi ship. The ship crippled after a deal had gone bad with some orion traders. I waited and waited for the orion ship to beam down and rescue me but they never came. I watched in horror as I saw the on the sensors my ship slowly peel off, and go into warp. They got their end of the trade, I was left for dead. I woke up 3 days later in a starfleet sickbay. Apparently a starfleet ship near the system had picked up the faint distress becon and took me in. I've enrolled into starfleet ever since, and am currently a Ensign of the USS Multipass.

OOC: Enjoys gaming, painting, fine art in general, photography, I work at a movie theatre. I got my at the time fiancee into watching Serenity and got her hooked on firefly and the movie.

U.S.S. Irrelevant (don't ask, it will become clear.) The ship is a salvaged hybrid, I remember my time with the Borg and somethings they got wrong and some they got right. I like to modify and upgrade as I go.

Character Class:
I am one of the best darn engineers to ever grace the hallowed ground that is a ships engineering section. I was good before I had my little... um, 'encounter' with the Borg. Now I have a entire toolkit for a left hand, I must say it has its upsides.

Shame its not a hit with the ladies...

Skills you bring to fleet:
I am a damn fine greasedawg, if you can break it, I can remake it. Couple that with the fact that unlike the other few souls who have been saved from the Borg by Starfleet I like my implants more than ma' looks. That may not sound important, but next time theres a hull breach and I can fix it without needing O2.... or even tools you will understand. Yes, I maybe powerful ugly but I get the job done no matter the odds.

Hell, I'll continue to do my job if yah except me or not but if you want me on your team this is what I do:

I answer distress calls and render aid when possible, I don't do this because I'm a nice guy to be honest. I do this because its easier to find salvage without starting a fight that is gonna get my butt kicked by the Feddies if I return fire. I get the salvage from whatever was attacking, the survivors are happy to see me and I sometimes even get a small nod from Starfleet.

Its not maybe the best reason to do it but I don't see the guys I rescue complain.

Little is known about Captain Adidem before he became Borg, the simple fact that all crew from over a dozen ships where missing from his colony world before anyone found that a small fragment of a Borg cube that had drifted into the local space as not a dead chunk of metal.

The first ship that found it saw it as a salvage opportunity and the few Borg drones still alive thought the same thing. After a week and three more ships, attracted to the easier to find growing metal object in search of salvage, the Borg craft had restored enough function to start active attempts to assimilate local spacecraft.

At this point a distress call was made known to Starfleet that a Borg vessel was loose near <colony name removed pending scientific salvage analysis>. A fleet was dispatched to engage.

Due to the rather primitive state of the vessel it was disabled as used as a test platform for Starfleet to gain more intel on Borg culture and methods. To this day, more Borg drones have been liberated from the collective off the Borg construct in <classified> than at any-other time.

Captain Adidem was one of these lucky souls. He recalls little of his original life but broke the collective 'habit' easier than most others, even enrolling in many earth University courses. He currently holds the record for a number of degrees held, mainly in part from his refusal to have most of the implants removed.

Students complaints that his method of downloading all available information on a subject prior to the exam is more inline with cheating than 'revision' as Captain Adidem claims.

Personal notes:

Say what you like about this guy, he looks like a Borg but under those implants is a stone cold rogue who will take your last energy cred in a game of poker with a smile. I don't trust him, I shouldn't like him.

My plans are to play a heavy hitting "tank" class (probably heavy cruiser based on what I saw in the few days of beta I played) and as for my character, most likely going to play a "Jayne Cobb" wannabe. Run and gun. Its all about the size of your gun etc etc. I honestly can't say that I've had time to figure out an entire character profile. I was just excited to find a Firefly fleet on the STO forums. I'm still excited! Hence my app!)

Shinjo first became known to Starfleet when his ship came to the aid of a Starfleet science station being assaulted by an alien strike force, after destroying the enemy ship he beamed aboard and assisted with repairs to the stations power core before an reactor breach occured; Shinjo quickly became friends with the head of the science team stationed there and over the following years stopped through to visit his dear friend on many occaisons. Shinjo found himself respecting the starfleet code of conduct and their desire to explore and understand other cultures, The years passed quickly for Shinjo as his people live a large span of years, but over the next 20 years his Starfleet friend aged as humans tend to do, and Shinjo soon found himself bidding a farewell to his old friend and in respect for his departed friend he approached and was soon enlisted in starfleets ranks, he served 2 years aboard the vessel USS.Flourish a small tactical vessel. My chief engineer Shinjo has shown himself a admirable man, I have found his talent for feeling the mode of my ship uncanny, he seems to know just when to run that next diagnostic or check the plasma conduit before its unknown weakend state becomes a problem. A few engineers in starfleet have shown this capability and I for one are glad to have one of them aboard my vessel.
Aside from being a most valuable engineer, I have notice Shinjo's head for tactics, on numerous occasions his suggestions have been envaluable when faced with a difficult and dangerous situation, he keeps a level head and a coolness about him. My one concern is his tactics seem to be quite deadly to his opponents, where sometimes...a light touch is all that is needed. His value for life seems to sometimes stop when he considers the life his enemy. I am endeavoring to temper this in him.
I am recommending him for his own command, he commanded his own ship for what would be a few generations in human terms amongst his people and has humbled himself well these last 2 years to serve under another command to deny this man his own ship would be a servere waste of talent.

OOC: I live in Australia, I am a Trek fan and have been for many years,I enjoy a variety of MMO's and thouroughly enjoyed beta testing STO, Firefly IMO is the best sci-fi had to offer and is hands down best series Fox has ever aired, recently purchased blue ray version of the entire series and enjoyed re watching them all for about the 5th time. I love music and was previously a teacher of guitar and piano. Soon I am moving to Houston to be married where I will reside as of Sept this year.

Please submit your service record: Severoth was born on a Starfleet Science Vessel know as the U.S.S Endevor. When Severoth turned 18 the Endevor was attacked by a Bird of Prey. The Endevor was destroyed, all records with Starfleet have been erased for the U.S.S Endevor by an unknown source. Severoth was the only known survivor of the attack. He does not speak of this tragic day nor what happened. He Joined Starfleet shortly after and excelled in combat training and in science. He now serves as Captain of the U.S.S Polaris.
Please note: Severoth has a tendency to Shoot first and ask questions later when it comes to Klingons. He has an obsession with finding the Klingons responsible for the original attack on the U.S.S Endevor and who ever has deleted all known service records for the ship and it's crew.
