Garfunkel peeks his head in the door, Looks for a certain Gorvash, and steps in , not seeing the. Naussican anywhere in the saloon. *yawn* "Good morning my friends! How are we?" He said, slipping into a bar stool and ordering an early morning drink.

*A man dressed in a yellow chicken suit enters the Second chance. On his front is a sign that reads "As me about Earl's". He sits down at the bar and a muffled voice says: Tequila straight up. The glass is delivered to him and he picks it up and not realizing he is still wearing the chicken head, spills the drink all over himself. He sighs rises and walks out of the bar.*

Hardtack enters the saloon, blinks, hesitates, then seats herself at the bar. She turns around, leaning her elbows against the bar. She leans back to the bartender, "I don't drink. Just... people watching."

JarHok strolls into the saloon and looks about for familer faces and soon spots Hardtack and wonders over.

"Well of all the gin joints in all the galixy you walk into this one", "So how are you doing".

Garfunkel walks over to Hardtack,"Hey, I don't believe we've met, I'm Art Garfunkel, and you are???...

Hardtack glances at both of her new compadres and smiles warmly. "Elli Hardtack, pleasure have met you Art." She extends a hand, then turns to JarHok.

"I'm doing just shiny. It's good to see you this side of trying to get me eaten or blown up." She chuckles.

"well looks like another round of romulan ail on me, thank got ive been savin credits this is gettin mighty expensive"

Well Mrs. Hardtack, I would be willing to bet you're with the Starfighter corps. Aren't you? It takes keen sight as well as hands to master such a forgotten art. Pleased to make your aquaintance.

Hardtack blushes. "I'm not married," she said flatly. "But thank you, and I am. It's not so forgotten though... i mean, if it were, would i be flying?"

(Baumer walks in.) "Howdy Y'all. The next round is on me."

JarHok laughs as well as he listens and says "Of course you would be flying" he is about to say something else when he spots a familer figuer enter the Second Chance".

"Ahh Admiral Baumer I would like you to meet a freind of mine the most comperable Lieutenant Hardtack".

Baumer: Lieutenant. How have you been? (Baumer extends a hand)

Baumer: No problem. Enjoy. So, have you all seen the new station ship yet? What do you think of her?

Hardtack smiles, "Thanks Admiral, but I don't drink."

Hello Admiral, it seems if I stay much longer I'll be up to my eyeballs in drinks. I'm not on duty till 17:00, so... JarHok! I demand a drinking contest! Beverages of your choice! Admiral, care to watch?

Baumer: Certainly, I'd enjoy a good contest.

Good! Now where did that JarHok go? Musta gotten scared when he heard his name and 'drinking contest' put in the same sentence! Ha

JarHok looms up behind Garfunkel and places a hand on his right shoulder "You were saying something about a drinking contset, so I whent and procured an Alcholeic bevarage it is Aldebaran whiskey".

He holds up a strange shaped bottle with a bright green liquid in it.

"Oh and Hardtack I though you may like something refeshing to drink a Slug-o-Cola".

Garfunkel felt JarHok's presence as he had approached, but stayed turned away for the sake of dramatics.

"Ahhh, Aldebaran Whiskey... It's Green..." Garfunkel said as he surveyed the strangely shaped bottle. "I've heard of this stuff, supposed to put hair on your chest, or back, or feet, or something... Garfunkel takes the cork off..."Whoo, that's going to be a doozy! Alright, gauntlet thrown, gauntlet picked up, now I'm ready to bludgeon you over the head with the gauntlet. LET'S KICK THIS PIG!!!"

JarHok produces two shot glasses from somewhere and places them on a nearby table and fills both of the shot glasses with the green liquid.

He then turns and picks up one of the shot glasses containing the green liquid and raises his glass to Garfunkel and says “May your blood scream!”, “A I certainly think this drink will be pretty good as it looks and smells pretty good to”.

JarHok then slugs back his shot of Aldebaran Whiskey and with a satisfying look on his face smacks his lips together in appreciation.

"To the screaming of blood!" Garfunkel says as he too, gulps back his glass... He let's the burning sensation travel down his esophagus, and gives a slight grunt of approval. "You are right my friend, this will be a contest worthy of only true warriors! Hit me!" He says, slamming his glass onto the table.

JarHok smiles and laughs saying “well after we polished off the bottle of whiskey that I can guess that our blood will most certainly be screaming”.

He then moves and refills their shot glasses with Aldebaran Whiskey and drinks his second shot.
