I'm STILL trying to find strawberries. Even my on-board Replicators don't have them on the menu, but they do have the ability to make banana splits. Perhaps a compromise?

I like RPG games especially, and when the enhanced version of Baldur's Gate comes out next month I fully intend to vanish from the face of the earth for some unspecified period of time.

In terms of MMO's, I started with Asheron's Call (AC), played on thistledown. Did Diablo II for a bit. Played Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC) for a year or two, played on the classic servers while they existed. Gave Age of Conan a try when it came out, and was massively disappointed. Been playing Eve Online for a few years now. Started with Star Trek about a month ago, after hearing some about it from other eve players.

I don't really get into the whole RPing thing in MMO's, which is kinda weird since I've played table-top rpg's extensively. So don't really have an IC thing to put here.

Real-life, I'm in my early 30's. I work doing medical billing stuff, mostly from home, so my play times are pretty flexible. As I'm applying to join a firefly group inside a star trek game, it goes without saying I'm a nerd.

Currently work in IT, buying a home and getting married. Obviosly I like gaming, but I am also a sci-fi fan.
I generally do not join guilds. I have little tolerance for (fill in your favorite expletive) and not into the "Look! a guy all alone and 20 levels under us! lets gank him!" mentality that seems to be prevalant in a lot of games. I was scanning through the boards though and came across this little piece of the 'verse and I was intrigued.

I like well written scifi. Stuff like Larry Nivan, Clark, Robert Heinlein, David Webber are examples of scifi that not only is plausible (and in some cases has already become fact) but stays true to the subject matter.
