I was a very new Tactical Officer onboard the U.S.S.Peripety in my first year before gaining command.

OOC:

I don't normally roleplay, I have so many characters across many games that only a few have a backstory and personality to them of which I can. I have often roleplayed under peoples noses without them knowing and sometimes incorporate something OOC as if it was roleplay and carried on. However, currently I am interested in learning the game and seeing where it takes me.

I'd describe myself as less Trekkie and more of a proper Whedon fan, I have been so since 1997 when Buffy came on British TV. I had seen the movie before that but didn't see sparks fly with it. I have collected the entire series of Buffy, Angel and Firefly, currently collecting Dollhouse. Other popular TV series non Whedon that I've enjoyed include Sarah Connor Chronicles, My Name is Earl, Heroes and Smallville.

Howdy Folks this is Captin Talleria Marie Lange of the USS Thorn NCC-93351 formaly requesting to join the fleet. I'm a Betazoid that was raised in South Carolina. Joined Starfleet as soon as they let me. Don't think I did all that bad as a cadet. Sure I didn't ace every course but I never gave up if I got something wrong. After graduating I spent some time on DS9 waiting for the ship I was assined to to return from is current mission. That was fun but didn't care for station life. Too meany people. But I did find a quiet place to sit and watch the world go by. On my first mission though I ended up being forced in to command of the Thorn, don't get me wrong she's a good ship but I just don't care for the haul desing. I'm looking to get in to bigger cruiser class hauls, eventualy a Sovereign class maby.

Pericles Manthos reporting for duty to the Firefly fleet! After the war I decided that being a scoundrel was better than being a traitor, so I decided to start running contraband to the outer rim planets right under the nose of the goram Feds. I ran in a variety of ships those days, but today have a refitted Constitution class (U.S.S Dallas) that serves my purposes well. Plenty of cargo space and enough firepower to get you out of a jam should I need to.

I am a Science Officer by trade, but like to dabble in just about anything that has to do with technology. I would be interested in helping out with Fleet Support operations and enjoy the rp aspect of the game tremendously. I have little MMO experience, but have played plenty of games in my day. Far Cry, Crysis, Mass Effect, MOHAA, COD, COH...

On a personal note, I have been a fan of Star Trek for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to Firefly last year and instantly became a lifelong fan. Looking for an online family to enjoy STO with, hopefully I have found them!

Back Story: By the age of 10 Kain Val' Cueran had earned himself quite a reputation as a trouble maker in his home city. Local law enforcement repeatedly failed to catch or outsmart this youth who by the age of 12 had cost the city over 500,000 in damages. At 13 he became a hero in the eyes of youths as he and several other youths forced police to withdraw from a firefight which left 32 squad cars immobilized. By 15 Kain had earned such fame that the best bounty hunters were on his tail. After months of pursuit he was eventually caught and was approached by starfleet offering him a chance to avoid jail by joining the Academy as he was a skilled tactician. Once at the Aademy it became clear to teachers that Kain had no real interest in most of his subjects but excelled in temporal mechanics, astrophysics and tactical analysis. Upon graduating he was asigned to the USS Talo where he earned a name for himself "Reckless and overconfident at times but very effective in combat" -Capt. J. Munrow. At 17 he was given command of his first ship the USS Allecto which played a part in the war against the dominion where he help win several important victories one of which was mentioned in Dr David Lur's Book on tactical strategies "for example Commander Kain Val' Cueran who was outnumber 4 to 1 pulled of one of the greatest victories in starfleet history. Although in theory his plan should never have worked by taking the risk he won the battle with minimum losss thus showing that a skilled tactician can win in almost any suituation.". After the war Kain became one of the youngest Captains in Starfleet history at the age of 18. Kain was given the USS Leviathen a modified ship with a boosted warp system state of the art weapons and a stealth generator as a reward for serving the federation well and was asked which fleet he would like to join. His answer The Firefly Fleet & Serenity Station.

My Name is Anora Kumaki, I grew up on the West Coast of the
United States and my family for generations have been engineers. My father is Japanese and mother American,
and they both served in Star Fleet as is my Sister Terra and I are now. Early in my Career in Star Fleet the ship I
was assigned to was attacked by the Borg and I had been assimilated in to their
collective. If it wasn’t for the strong
bond my sister and I share I could still be part of the collective. She found
me and rescued me along with many others the Borg had under their control. After another encounter with the Borg I have
shown how I can handle being under pressure and lead a crew to victory against a
foe who sought to add more to their numbers. In doing so I have been given
command of my own ship and at a personal request of my own I had my sister
assigned to my crew.

Kahnee Trillian Elona Vrill is a very curious Trill. As a young scientist she flitted from
specialty from specialty and almost did not graduate due to the fact she did
not have enough credits in any one specific field but a quick look at her
records showed that she seemed to enjoy most of the Life sciences. After a few cram sessions and some testing
Kahnee finally got a degree in Xenobiology and Psychology. She traveled home for a summer, where she
was tested as an afterthought to be a suitable host. She was immediately given to a joined trill
by the name of Telon Evip, who was very quick to announce that she was in fact
suitable.


She took a very long time to get used to the idea, and
finally willingly became host to Vrill.
They have been joined for 5 years.
Vrill has had 2 previous hosts.


Soon after her joining, Kahnee changed a little. Becoming slightly more focused she became an
applicant to Star Fleet, something that had not previously been on her radar.


She has just recently been given the command of her own
ship, the Two of Clubs, and has been asked to watch over a potential host.


L’thou Melinda Marix has been with the crew, acting as
doctor, for several months now.


Kahnee still seem interested in just about everything, and
has no social graces about poking into someone’s head and asking
questions.
