Doff mining for Fleet Projects

Not enough white Doffs to fill fleet projects? White Doffs on the Exchange too expensive?
Here is a potential way to push more white Doffs into Fleet Projects.
Find and purchase cheap Green/blue Doffs on the Exchange, or use unwanted green/blue Doffs from your crew.
Go to the personnel Officer and Exchange Duty Officers. This costs zero dilithium and creates 3 Doffs of next lower rank. You can do this an unlimited amount of times.
Mail the extra and currently unneeded Doffs to yourself for later use (see this post).

This works best with KDF Doffs, as you can execute any unwanted civilians.

Yep, this is also a neat thing to do if you get excess purples from the exploration chain assignments. I end up with bunches of them. Mostly I try and use them for officer exchanges to get a purple I can use or sell, but if I end up with excess I'll go ahead and break them down into lower ranks.

1 purple = 3 blues = 9 greens = 27 whites.

Check as you go, if you get any blues worth decent coin better to sell them than split them into greens.

And you can find a LOT of green doffs on the market for 25-40k, which is almost always more than 3 white doffs will go for.

This whole thing is starting to feel like human trafficing heheheh... okay of KDF but feels... wrong... somehow on Fed side

Remember, StarFleet is a paramilitary organization. Duty officers go where they are assigned, even if it means being placed on the exchange and bought by KDF officers and placed on a KDF starbase. Such is life.

Makes me glad my Captian was killed during a Borg attack back when I was just an Ensign, and than I was given command of my own ship. Or I might have ended up like that!

Oh wow, that exact same thing happened to me. What a coincidence.

Too much of a coincidence. I think there's a conspiracy at work in Starfleet, one where they get rid of Captains who have outlived their usefulness and that's how they keep new doffs coming along for the starbases. They set their pet Borg on everyone.

Its probably a Section 31 simulation and the unwanted captains are shipped off secretly to parts unknown.
