My favorite thing to do in mmo's is make money and a lot of it I am more of a trader or merchant than anything ells. I play engineer mostly but science is my favorite I chose engineer because my federation is science but I don't care much for federation. I don't do anything in specific I just do what needs to get done I have never had a specific role to fill. I am on a random times because I have some sleeping issues but I get on whenever a friend wants to play or someone sends me a message on steam I usually check a few times a day. I made it up to level 50 and am now having a hard time getting a ship without fleet marks so I am looking forward to getting to the good parts of this game. I just need people to play with and help me learn more about the game and I am enjoying this part of just joining up.

Let us say that for whatever reason Malcolm Reynolds fired his entire crew and is re-hiring for all positions on board Serenity except for Captain. What position do you think you would be best to fill and why?

I play as engineer but I prefer to play as a scientist. I have no experience in anything fleet oriented so I would like to lear about it from this fleet that has the experience and I will do whatever the fleet needs of me.

thank you I will try to do my best to help out the fleet. when will I get an invitation to join the fleet in the game? and I don't like the federation all to much but I can play as him if needed.

I will be sending the invite shortly. Just want to point out while we do have a Klingon branch most of our activity is focused on the Federation fleet.

If you're mostly on the KDF side, then you should know that Firefly Fleet actually have two chat channels (besides the voice chat system, Mumble - information about that is in the section headed "Ventrilo Information", Ventrilo being the voice chat server we used before Mumble). There's the regular fleet chat, and there is also "The Signal" which isn't restricted to fleet members.

So it might be a good idea to use "The Signal" to give us a shout when you log in on your KDF character, and any of us who are logged in on the Federation side can see it and join you if they want to. I always do that myself when I play on the KDF side.

Just had a message from Tert saying that so far nobody's sent one. I can't work out how to send a fleet invitation to someone who's not currently online. Somebody tell me how that's done, please?

If it's not allowed at my rank, please can somebody else send the invitation (and one for Reavers too).

Wow... so many questions! Okay, here goes. I found out about this fleet by looking through the database in-game? I'm still not really sure how the social aspects of this game work so I was really just browsing... but I liked the sound of you guys For right now, I'm actually in England, but I'm returning to the states in 2 weeks. After that I'll be at my grandma's house with no internet for a few weeks, but then I'll be on east coast time, and probably playing in the afternoon or evening. I most identify with Kaylee, because she's always trying to make everyone around her happy! I also identify with Wash's sense of humor. But I really think that we can relate to every member of Serenity... and that's what makes me love them all so much. As for my favorite episode... depends on which series! I am partial to The Naked Time and The Naked Now though... fencing Sulu and power-mad Wesley SO GOOD.

So... I'm a little confused about the application process. I'm actually confused about a lot of things lol... so I've posted my application in this thread... now what? Should I be doing something?
