that would be fantastic. I have been watching the Station, and all of you present yourselves quite well. Of course, I am looking at a rank reduction, but that is completely acceptable for me. If needed, I can also go thru the regular channels of recruitment. As for Captain Richter, I hope he shows up soon, so I can speak with him. The most of us are military IRL, which gives the reason why our hours are so sporadic. Mine for instance, will be improving, due to me moving from my present unit to one in a more office environment. Its that time in my career, apparently.

*takes another drink, and looks for a no smoking sign*

We have several military folks IRL here as well. One should be getting back from tour of duty any time now, another is serving and a few others have served. Office time eh? Well, I guess each of us reach that time eventually in our carreers, whether military or otherwise. Also no worries on Sporadic hours. I keep some pretty crazy ones as well, as I'm an Actor IRL. It's always an adventure.

I'm buying into this like it is a Risan timeshare. The question is, what happens to the rest of the ships I have? I would like to keep mine, of course, and there are the others to think about. Captain Richter is responsible for the names and classics of them. Minus the Defiant..that was my little present.

*pops a quarter off the side of the glass*

Risan timeshare eh? I could sure go for one of those as well. Haha, thanks for the Defiant. We should have her back in bristol fashon in a few weeks.

Well, I would say that any of the ships that you would like to bring along, feel free to bring along. We have plenty of docking ports and unless Starfleet Re-assigns some of them, I don't see any problem in them being here as well.

I suppose, for the meantime I will go ahead with officially submitting myself to Serenity. It can do no harm. I will maintain UA for a few days more, until you have a definite answer for me. That way, everyone is satisfied. I do not believe that the Jevonite Order will be pleased. Considering we were their only ally with Federation ties.... I suppose thats the way the game is played though.

*takes a drink, and then flicks the quarter into the glass without hitting the sides*

I'm sorry your fleet has had difficulties in the past and I hope that we can provide a solid and enjoyable home for you and your people. Also, if you ever have a problem or a question, you know where to find me.

No worries, sir.... that is, about the members of the UA. The Jevonite, however.... it would be a tough cookie to crack. The simple reason that we were able to agree to speak with each other, was because of my position granting me the privilege to overlook certain qualities of their organization. Moving into a position within Serenity and Firefly would not grant me the same notions to exploit. So.....

*takes a drink, and puffs on the cigarette*

So..... if your political officials did a little check themselves, I think their decision upon relations with the Jevonite would be in the best interest of this station and her fleet. My views would simply be biased, and I cannot allow that to interfere, should I be in a permanent position among you and my hopefully future peers.

*empties the glass of his quarter, sets it upright again. he takes baumers quarter and slides it across the bar surface to baumers hand*

I admire some of the historical figures of Starfleet, and I try to model my own actions to mirror theirs, but for the majority of times sake, I must adhere to Federation Doctrine, would you not agree? Although, taking a lesser rank once again, would give me the opportunity to.....

*finishes his last beer for the night, and sets the glass on the inside shelf of the bar. he gets up, and goes to his temporary quarters, where he sheds his used uniform. He picks up the top. Stares at the Fleet Admiral pips.*

*He takes them off the collar, and sets them on a table in the room. He looks at them for a moment, and then sits down on his bed. The message he left( http://unitedalliances.guildlaunch.com/index.php?gid=82218 ) was not one he ever wanted to. Admitting defeat was something he was rarely experienced with. He laid down in the bed, and stared at the ceiling. His vision was slightly blurred from the alcohol. Yet, it did not cloud his judgement, that it was the best thing to do. He only hoped that Captain Richter would follow him to Serenity, where each of them could make a new home. Guile had been greeted at Serenity Station with a sense of belonging that he had been looking for. No matter the rank he received, all he knew was that he could only bring something productive to the station and her fleet. So as he soon passed into sleep, the last thought he had was of confidence and relaxation.*

Pyriel walks behind the bar and grabs a bottle of Jonjah's special homebrew and sits it on the bar . Computer beam this bottle and note to Guile's quarters. After a few seconds, the bottle and note vanish and he heads up stairs with Jonjah.

*strips his former rank and uniform off. looks at it for a moment. he sighs, and picks up the new one. he looks at the one, and grins. he puts it on in a matter of minutes, and looks at himself in the mirror. he notices his hair is getting a little long. 'oh well...get it cut here in a bit', he thinks. he picks up the bottle that had mysteriously appeared this morning, and looks at it for a moment... 'wonderful stuff, here', he thinks. he sets the bottle on a table. he then picks up two of his mobile emitters, and stashes them away in a pocket. he walks out the door of his quarters, and heads right back to the Second Chance*

(Baumer walks into the Second Chance)

I need a drink. Make it a stiff one. I'm going to need it before tomorrow.

*sits at his stool from earlier, in his new uniform this time. he takes a pull of the glass in front of him, and sees Admiral Baumer enter*

Alright there, sir? Whats tomorrow bringing for ya?

A mission. If all goes well, we will be rid of this menace that has been attacking shipping lanes into the station.

We have a cloaked ship out there that attacks targets of opportunity. We got a fairly decent scan of one of its counterparts before it was destroyed and the scariest part is that it's Federation technology.

We took a major hit a while back when 10 of them decloaked and our fleet engaged them. Three of our ships were badly damaged and sensors detected that the enemy self destructed all 10 of the ships.

I, however, believe that this was merely to throw us off guard so that we would believe that we were out of the woods.

I have a plan to go into the fray and meet this challenger head on. If I'm right, they won't pass up a chance to attack my ship while it's alone.

What they don't know is that I have had the station refit teams upgrading it's weapons and defences for the past week straight. I am hoping that gives me the edge.

There, however, is a situation that you may be able to help with.

*sets his glass down for the final time. sober news brings a sobering effect to him.*
