I just read that Comedy Central has contracted 26 NEW Futurama episodes to be made next year. They made the decision after the success they have seen after aquiring the franchise from Cartoon Network. They aired the four DVD movies as 30 minutes episodes with a much stronger viewer following than they had anticiapted.
So, get ready for more Brannigan-esque feats of heroic ... uh ... heroism (and snu-snu)!
P.S. Billy West (a.k.a. Fry, Zoidberg, Farnsworth, Nixon's Head and My voice) is completely geeked out at getting to go back to Futurama yet again. He has stated that Fry and Stimpson J. "Stimpy" Cat are his two favorite roles he has played. Fry he plays as hiself at age 25. Love it!
