That was one of his early roles on television. I loved night court. You should have seen him in the episode he was in the first time on Night Court. I have to say, I really enjoy him as an actor. (Hey, we are all entitled to our own opinions, hehe )
Also, in his defence for the character acting in night court, seeing the first episode helps you in the second, as you really get more of the setup to the fact that these characters are supposed to be the gloomyest redneck country bumpkins you have ever seen... I guess to me that's what makes that so darn funny haha. Maybe I just have seen too many people in real life that these folks remind me of hahahaha
