When she does give a complement however, youy can but she means it Holds honor and respect above all other traits. She is also a firm believer in saying how she feels.
She is also very religious, and a devote follower of Christ. While Christianity’s influence has dwindled in the 24th century, she believes unwaveringly in her faith.

History
Born in Hong Kong China Yan Tung, was used to the intense city life. From birth till her final year of high school she lived in the atmosphere of the big city. For much of her time there she would find random odds and ends to construct devices to help her family. She devoted herself to better her family’s comfort in anyway possible, since they didn’t have all the extras families of more import enjoyed. It was this drive that also took her to the academy. She wanted to make her parents proud, and she knew the best way was to take herself to the bleeding edge of discovery in space, and to promote her families values to the planets and people she touched.
She was accepted to the Academy quickly and got among the highest grades in her engineering related courses; diplomacy however was not her strong point.
Service Record
Graduated the Academy, specializing in the Engineering track.
Served as a propulsion specialist aboard the U.S.S. Noel , am aging Oberth class vessel, not for the glory, but for the challenge.
Managed to bring the Noel to such a high level of operating efficiency that a previously planned refit was scrapped due to the vessels condition already surpassing the need for one.
Continued to maintain a strong record for creating creative solutions to problems on her next 2 assignments, and was considered to be on the fast track for command.
Was transferred to the U.S.S. Sutherland years after McIntyre’s stint aboard and was promoted to commander before being assigned to the U.S.S. Serenity on a temporary position. To date, to be serving aboard a such a high profile vessel has been her greatest honor.
