U.S.S. Valiance

Lieutenant Hardtack waded through the wreckage. Thank goodness no one died. Stupid raiders. She had been looking forward to a nice easy cruise from home base to the station, but noooo, those stupid raiders had to come and take large chunks out of the hull. But her skeliton crew was mostly safe, a few minor injutries. They had done beautifully.

Hardtack had never had a command before, but being the only actual ranking officer (and how she wound up with the Valiance was beyond her) she assumed command. "I like this feeling." she mused to herself.

"What was that Cap?" It was Lona, the CIO...the one that she actually liked.

"Nothing Lona." Hardtack turned to the helmsman, "Kip, keep us at an orbit till we get clearance. Ace," Hardtack smiled at the blond haired girl still shaking from the skrimage, "send the station a hale and request permission to dock. Mention that we have a few minor injuries, but our medical staff should be able to handle it."

Ace nodded. This is my family, glad they got sent with me.

This is Serenity Ops Please identify yourself.

"This is the U.S.S. Valiance NCC- 74109. Requesting permission to dock. We've recently been transfered from service under the U.S.S. Belief."

You look like you have sustaned some damage do you require medical attention?

Meanwhile, on the Station.....

Guile's comm beeps. "Go ahead."

"Foster here. Looks like there is a new ship in town. And sensors are showing a predominantly female crew.... just thought you should be aware of this uhhhhhhh, security issue, seeing as how your now officially a member of the Serenity Station Marine Force...."

Guile, "Wooooo ha! Roger that. I'll make sure I aaahhh..... keep an eye out for new personnel. Can never be too careful... and get a hold of Doc for me. I need some more of those wonderful cure all hangover hypo sprays.... Guile, out."

"No need for medical, we've got it covered, thanks. But repair would be nice."

OOC: btw, bridge crew consists of Ace, Lona, Kip (male), Sana' (married to Kip), Colton (Chief of security), Tommy (medical), Hawkins (male), and Aven (also male). sorry for the minor disappointment. Don't worry though, there are plenty of female noncoms.

The comm aboard the Valiance crackles to life.

"This is Salora Tayet, Chief Medical officer aboard Serenity Station. I shall be the one to decide what is covered and what is not. Please have your crew report to Med Bay 1 as soon as you dock. Salora out!"

Salora rises from the comfort of her couch, stretching and yawning. "It never seems to end," she thinks to herself.

She informs Med Bay 1 of incoming patients.

Guile's tummy starts to ache. 'Must be that damn shrimp fried rice....' He now has a sad face. He immediately heads for Sick Bay...

Hardtack inwardly sighs. "Copy that, I'll inform my team. They should be able to assist."

Hardtack promptly alerts Tommy of situation. "It's gonna be a long day."

Valiance this is Graywolf we can spare you a repair team as well?

This is OPS i need everyone to stay off the line U.S.S. Valiance please proceed to refit bay 2. The have your crew report to medbay 1. Welcome home.

Hardtack lets out a deep sigh of relief at those words. "Home," she muses.
