With the Iconians waging war on all fronts, the Delta Alliance has been hard at work negotiating with the various races of the Delta Quadrant. These negotiations pay off in the form of the Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack. The duty officer pack brings Delta Quadrant species encountered during the events of Delta Rising to the Duty Officer system, allowing captains to staff their ships with Benthan, Hierarchy, Kazon, Malon, Ocampan, and Talaxian duty officers.
Each pack is structured similarly to the Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack, which will be discontinued with the release of this new pack. When you open a Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack, you will receive four (4) white quality or better Duty Officers, two (2) green quality or better Duty Officers, and one (1) blue quality or better Duty Officer. In addition, each pack comes with an added bonus reward!
Most of the bonus rewards are the same options which were available in previous duty officer packs. The Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack also contains three new Starship Traits – Attack Pattern Delta Prime, Point Defense Protocols, and Scramble Fighters! In addition, we’ve added Research Lab Provisions for use with the new Research Lab fleet holding. Finally, we’ve brought back Fleet Ship Modules from the Fleet Support Duty Officer Pack, which can be used to purchase Fleet ships.

Many of the new Active Duty roster powers are designed to enhance different types of weapons fire, giving captains the option of using different weapons layouts to gain buffs. Other powers enhance existing bridge officer powers, such as giving an additional heal to the end of Vascular Regenerator and Hazard Emitters. In addition, some of the Duty Officers have high-end Research and Development specializations!
Starship Traits
Three new Starship Traits are available exclusively from the Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack – Attack Pattern Delta Prime, Point Defense Protocols, and Scramble Fighters. Each trait comes in a pack which is consumed on use. The packs are freely tradable between characters and on the Exchange.
Attack Pattern Delta Prime enhances the existing functionality of Attack Pattern Delta. When the target of Attack Pattern Delta is hit, the target gains a Critical Chance and Critical Severity buff, which can stack up to ten times.
Point Defense Protocols activates on using Beam: Fire at Will, Cannon: Rapid Fire, Cannon: Scatter Volley, and Surgical Strikes. While one of these powers is active, your ship fires an automated defense turret at nearby enemies. The automated defense turret deals proton damage to a nearby target every half second, and never misses.
Scramble Fighters triggers on using the Launch functionality of any hangar pet. When used, all currently active hangar pets are immediately healed for half of their max hull. In addition, they gain a damage buff and become immune to all damage for five seconds. These bonuses take effect even if no new pets are launched.
