I would like to put together our first official Fleet event!

This Friday at 8pm Eastern, Branflakes is going to be getting groups together to run the Tholian Incursions. http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=314671

Instead of showing up to join the event, I was thinking that we could all get together and run as a pack.

There will be a lot of people hanging out and running this event and it would be a fantastic time for us to get some face time with the community. They'll see a pack of Temporal Agents running around and we might even get the interest of a new recruit or two, who knows!

What're your thoughts? Anyone available this Friday at 8pm-ish?

Work: That pesky thing that often gets in the way of fun. I will fight the good fight on your behalf! Maybe it will turn into something like the Battle of Serenity Valley.

Now, Now we do not talk about Serenity valley. Kind of a soft spot!

i missed it too got called into work, it was my night off but was really busy,

Lets call that one a trial run. We'll get it together and try agian.

We didn't exactly start on time, and there was some confusion from others about how to switch instances and all that. Not to mention a couple of people didn't have their EV suits yet. While it ended well it was a while in getting fully started. Until we get the joint channel up, it will be hard to coordinate these things.

Speaking of which, the inter-fleet channel is about to go live. I will post all the information here once it is up and running. I am hoping to have it up later tonight if all goes well...famous last words

I am still wanting to call it the Browncoat-Agency Channel (BAC), but if y'all have a better name I am wide open!

BAC suits just fine. ABC would be just as good, IMO. That would be easy to remember but BAC isn't exactly a brain strainer... and I admit Browncoat Agency flows a little better than Agency Browncoat, although not much. I suppose we could go with Serenity Agency Channel... but the Strategic Air Command might object heheheheheh. We could go with Agency Serenity Channel (ASC)... but someone with really poor spelling skills might mistake us for a "help desk" channel - ROFL.

Wow! There are some great suggestions here! I kinda like the "You're all whacked" channel, but some might take that the wrong way. Can't imagine why though

I am going to go with the Serenity-Agency Channel (SAC). That way we honor the ship, the battle, and our alliance. I can set the welcome message that says "Welcome to the SAC. Home of the Big Damn Heroes!"

I am going to hop online now and set it up. I will make it open to all with no password, so it will be easy for both fleet's members to join and thus coordinate events and such. Right now we have our own fleet channel set up, but only a few of us use it (they are using the main fleet option instead). It may take a few days to get people aware of it but this will make things sooooo much easier.

Great! I spent 5 years in the Air Force... now I'm back in the SAC again? - ROFLMAO ... naw, seriously... I like it. I guess my call handle will have to be "Dutch" (Lt. Col. Robert "Dutch" Holland - Jimmy Stewart role in the movie "Strategic Air Command"... for the "Next Gen" among us heheheheh).

Yeah, I have to report into SAC first. Gotta see if there are any "nuts" on the loose or "Yeah SAC headquarters is just up the street. It can be pretty hard to find sometimes." *snickers*

I was with Air Force ACC while I was in, so SAC is a nice change of letters

The channel is now up and running, and I have just let everyone in the STIA know about it. I am hoping they will join up quick and we can start getting a STF night up and going. Do y'all have a scheduled event night or anything like that?

We are Browcoats! Schedules are for feds! Usually there are enough of us on at any given time to run just about anything. So if you get together with the agency and find out what works best for them. I will post the activity and we will see if we can't get it right this time!
