    As far as I can tell the guy is quite serious. His solution to the issue of how to generate artificial gravity is especially intriguing. Very Happy

    Wow! Nice find I poured over every inch of that site. That guy seems really informed and made it sound like it really was quite possible. Well good luck to him I hope he gets the funding!

    This is why I love sci-fi fans. I don't care if you think he's loony or visionary, the imagination that sci-fi inspires is the greatest part of the genre.

    As interesting as it sounds to use the original Enterprise designs, I think they would be better suited to use the Heavy Crusier design with 4 nacelles and the saucer located symmetrically between them.

    that is one of the great things about sci fiction vistionatry and fans other try and work to make in sci fact it drives techology into the future by imagining what is possible and then striving to make it so
