Cleaning House

This fleet has needed a house cleaning for a long time.


I've been trying to hold together two hundred cargo barrels of dead weight with bailing twine and toothpicks, while balancing an elephant with my nose on a 30 foot pole.

Friends, your leader is done feeling sorry for himself and his inadequacies in time to make every plan of the past work and is getting ready to jump back in with both feet.

It's time to clean house:

* Figure out who is here to stay and who is long since gone. (Make a list of active, boot the inactive.)
* Put the "Core Elite" as I like to call them into the leadership spots.
* Cut loose the dead weight and start pulling in new members
* Start finding ways to make the game more interesting to all.
* Increase the leadership and spread the wealth of the leadership responsibility.
* Empower the membership of the fleet to take the initiative and put groups and events together, even if a leader isn't present.

(Core Elite - the members who are constantly active, dedicated, kind spirited, helpful, communicative, ethical, and loyal.)


I'm going to try to show more activity in the next few weeks. It will be late at night, but activity is activity. I would like to see regular corrospondance in the forums, because I need you all in on this. It's time to kick this pig in the butt and get it rolling.

Tonight I kicked about 60 members in game due to about 5 months of inactivity.

If you are kicked from the fleet in game for any reason, whether due to inactivity or by accident and desire to return to active status, please let any of the officers know and we will re-invite you ASAP and restore you to your prior status in the fleet.

*raises hand* Umm could we cook said pig? I call dibs on the ribs.

Sounds goo to me ......yep I'm alive sort of anyway.

Should I point out that I'm here and would like to stay as such? Also if you need any help feel free to drop me a line.

I am here, at least on the forums at times. As I stated in my away post, I was going to be away from the game for at least a month, possibly now up to 2.... due to work issues in the Gulf of Mexico, I work offshore. I can use the internet, but the bandwidth is not good enough for gaming

Here I am. Forums only for a couple more month's.

Would be interested in how we can work to make the game more interesting, open to new responsibilities\roles if you need me. Central time zone... Thanks!

meh, been busy with the getting married and moving and helping my hubby at his job...and getting pregnant.

Getting pregnant is definitely a full time job in it's self. Congratulations (If that means you are)

Still here and around, will be on Tribble for a bit this weekend playing around with the new FDC stuff if anyone else is around give us a shout, would also be interesting in seeing the Fleet Logo stuff to. I know Elle hasn't checked in, least I don't think she has, even though I told her to. I'm not sure what her plan is at the moment, I'll get her to sign in & let you know once I speak to her

I should be a little more active now. The update's renewed my interest, as well as my work schedule actually starting to even out. The unfortunate problem is my play time is not going to really be around standard prime time as I work evenings now. So if anyone is around late night PST or midday PST, I should be on more and I'm totally down for some missioning/RPing

Unfortunately, I've had little time to play and I don't think that's going to change. I had wanted to recapture some of the awesome raiding I did in WOW during the run-up and launch of Burning Crusade, but live moves on.

Baumer, let me know if this isn't kosher, but I'd love to see my account go to someone that can put it to use. I've been playing since Beta. The account is paid through April 16, 2011. I have the Star Trek Online 12 Month Subscription Preorder, which locks in an annual discounted sub ($12 per month instead of $15, but it is annual). There's also 440 cryptic points on the account, and I've already bought a few of the perks with other points I had. I'd like to sell the account through PayPal, if possible. $100 and I'll ship the game disk, too. If anybody is interested, let me know.

And old McCoy is back, unstressed and shiny. I started up a new toon so I'm working my way up through ranks again (I wasn't to happy with my choice of tactical captain/cruiser role, and since I can't reclass..so) ((Or can I reclass now?))

Just wanted to let you know that i am still hear. I just been swamped with my new job.

This is a post for Charis'et he is still around, he's had computer problems and is in the works on trying to get one built.
