Academy Years: 2397 – 2400. Graduated one year early, due to excess credit and grades. One of five in his class to survive new Kobayashi Maru more than ten minutes. Total time, 23 minutes. Graduated the Academy with Honors in Battlespace Environment, Weapons and Hand Combat, Starfleet Operations, Starfleet History(Conflict and Resolution).
Service Years: 2400 – 2409. USS Echo Burning.
2401: Participated in the Klingon Bat’leth tournament. Second human male to do so. Earned fifth place, standing armed. Promotion from Ensign to Lieutenant.
2402 -2403: Deep space exploration on USS Echo Burning. Earned several commendations during various encounters.
2404 – 2409: Promoted to Commander. Third youngest at the grade in Starfleet, by seven months. Continued to serve with distinction. Fought several encounters with chance Borg while patrolling the nearest Corridor. Spent several months, and earned a separate commission in the Marine branch of Starfleet.
2405: Participated in Bat'leth tournament. Earned 3rd place, standing. Received laceration across left pectoral. Did not have corrected scar treatment. Wears it like a badge. Preceded by Galactic Judo Tournament held on Risa. Placed 4th, light heavyweight division.
2409: Earned several combat awards for service during a major Borg conflict with the fleet of the Echo Burning. During this time, assigned to another mission, the Echo Burning responded to the battle, arriving in time to fend of two cubes, as the battered Fleet retreated. During this, the Echo Burning sustained damage, that left Guile with a missing left eye, due to shrapnel from an explosion on the Bridge. Echo Burning was able to pull back, with a damaged Defiant Class ship in tow. With both senior Admirals dead, his Captain dying, Commander Guile assumed command of what was left of the Fleet. Due to their location, Starfleet Command authorized Guile the position of Fleet Admiral, which he held successfully for a short while, until the Fleet was in Federation space. Reduced position to Captain, while holding the rank of Commander. Also promoted to rank of 1st Lieutenant in the Marine Branch. Received medical treatment, having an implant replaced for his left eye. Implant presents regular vision to neural system, while also adding EM field detection, polarized, and IR field sensing.
Current Assignment: Serenity Station. Rank, Commander in Fleet Operations. 1st Lieutenant in Marine Branch. Holds position as Captain of Echo Burning, now officially registered as part of Serenity roster.

1st entry: Early Years.
A life rather ordinary. The few exceptions can be counted on one hand. Age 5 to 12, spent on one ship or another. Began personal education on top of normal school requirements to pass time. Programmed first Holodeck simulation at age 12. Scenario driven re-enactment of the Kasserine Pass tank battle of World War 2. First girlfriend was a Betazoid three years his senior. Ages 12-14, continued education, became involved in various martial arts training. Began programming ground combat scenarios from all over the Quadrant's history. Age 14, began programming starship driven scenarios. Repeatedly attempted to change the outcome of Wolf 359. This same year, the Betazoid female transferred off ship rather quickly, destroying his heart. This was a pain quickly tided over thru his continued studies and training. Age 15, met a human female, named Rachel, age 15. Became very close. Two years again pass, with dreams of flying thru the stars constantly on his mind. Rachel leaves at age 17 after an argument about his career decision.
2nd Entry: Academy Years.
Left his parents, and Rachel to join Starfleet. Age 17.
1st year: Due to credits already gained, and aptitude testing, was put in advance placement, 2nd year studies. Classload: Stellar Cartography, Hand to Hand/ 3 Dimensional Battlespace, Starfleet Military History, Starfleet Operations-Command Level, Weaponology. Personal life out of class room environment suddenly became lively, due to living on ships for most of his life. Even if there was a term paper due the next day, he remained out until an hour before class. The only people who claimed to have seen him sleep, were the various females he ended up with thru his academy years. Love did not exist in his heart, after the notion of spending his life with someone being ripped away.
2nd year: Advanced with merit.
