Music Just for STO!?!?!

Yes Goram'it there is a internet-radio broadcast that runs 24/7/365. Live DJ's, Interviews with STO Developers, Really good music, Parties in game, Contests, and PvP/STF runs.

All with a great community and tons of new friends to be made. Both on the site, and via a relay in game on the SSR channel. For help joining the SSR channel you can ask on the site, or if I am on please feel free to poke me.

If there is a show that you wanted to hear and missed it, then there is also the "rewind" so you can go back and listen to; just an example: Right as I am typing there is a live interview with Mapolis, who is a Cryptic-Foundry Developer. Being interviewed by SSR DJ-Erroch. It is a really good interview I would suggest any Foundry authors to go back and listen to it.

I do know that it supports WinAmp, and flashplayer. I am also aware that there is some issue with Vista, however it is still possible to listen in and join the chat.

It was prity cool the other night i don't have it on all the time when i i like to here the sound of the mission when i'm in battle but its fun to play in other times

Yea, it is a good signal, And a good community. No one can blame you for wanting to hear the game sounds/music/etc. That is why the developers have it in there. I even mute the stream during cut scenes and what not.

If they're as good as EVE Radio was, I'll have to check these guys out too.

There are several DJ's that play on both sides. These guys are a Load more laid-back and willing to help Anyone.

I listened for the first time last night while at work. One of the other DJs banged out on the guy on did a eight hour air shift. The whole time he was happy and upbeat, never once sounding worn down. That really impressed me. The station reminds me of SI radio in its heyday. My question is how we would we get them to do on of those fleet recruitment ads for us. I saw back in 2010 Laph had already set up an onsite ad for us. But one over the airwaves would be pretty cool.

Very good, I am glad that you enjoyed listening. Nearly every DJ has that kind of drive, the exceptions are I believe the non-US DJ's. But I think that is just the tone of speech.

As for the Fleet Add, I know one of the DJ's mentioned it on air last night. Just can not recall who said what. As soon as I get an answer I will sent you a PM Listline. Or if you have IRC they host a server under coldfront.net #subspace-radio.
