Second Chance Saloon

A small group of people come to the door of the Second Chance, as they stand the you notice that they all have on the black uniforms of Starfleet Intelligence . One is a tall what looks like a Vulcan Cdr. with red hair and an athletic build , the second is a brown furred Caitian with a pronounced limp, and a tall dark skinned human with a shaved head a scare on his left cheek, As soon as they all take in the room the Vulcan leading the way head to a table in a dark corner of the saloon and they all sit where they can watch the door . After they sit Vahlda wanders up can ,I get ya’ll anything ? The Vulcan looks up I’ll have a green tea please. The Caitian smiling says I’ll have a Raktajino please beautiful. The large black man leans back and I will have a beer please. Vahlda blushes at hearing the beautiful commit I’ll have I right out and scurries to the bar to get the drinks. The black man looks over to the Vulcan , you know I think I’m going to like it here. The Vulcan smiles hell Jamie you would like it anywhere the serve a cold beer. Jamie looks thoughtful for a second then looks back over yep, you have a point. The Caitian looks back over to the Vulcan after watching Vahlda walk away ,Cdr lynch do you know when the Admiral will be back? Nope but he said to get used to the place this will be our new home, hell it beats a penal colony any day in my book.. Vahlda hurries back over to the table with their drinks and sits them down in front of the owners with the Caitian being last. He looks up into her eyes so beautiful what time do you get off tonight. Vahlda winks at him just depends on how good he is and walks away with a smirk on her face. Jamie nearly spits his beer across the able and laughs , good god I’m going to love this place. Sharal you got burned . The Caitian just smiles at Jamie , well Major I can remember a time back on Risa that you…… Jamie pipes up you know you can shut up now . Cdr. Lynch taking in the whole scene just sits back and smiles .

(A man in a hawaian shirt and shorts[minus the dingy and life preserver] leans over to the group and smiles.) How are you all today? I couldn't help overhearing you... which penal colony are you from?

Laphiel finishes puting the hat on admiral stronin, when new people enter the bar. She turned around looking at them with myuch suspect. Than she sat back on her place holding her giant cup of tea in front of her

With his back turned to he person talking Jamie says the one where they mind their own damn business. Cdr. lynch looks over to Jamie then back to the person talking , Can the attitude Major Keys it was a simple question. I’m sorry my friend here is a little over protective, Stalog 12 in Antarctica. I ran foul some bad people and I did my time. And who might you be?

Laphiel stands and walks towards baumer twisting her tail alittle. She put her mug on the counter when the person said
"And who might you be?" she turned around and said
"This is Admiral Baumer." She madelong pause to refill cup " His the big boss here" She opened a bottle of rum and added some to her drink, than pu alot of suggar and starte vigourously stirring

Cdr Lynch Looks over to the Lieutenant well thats nice to know but i am to report to Admiral Danto. You wouldn't happen to know where he might be Little girl?

"Well, there is big chance of him beeing in his office. Or on his ship. If yuo kindly ask our computer, she may giv yuo the answer. Or not. Also if you wait he may pop here soon. Also watchout here. His wife runs this place... Big boy, sir" She smiled at Cdr Lynch

Well i do know he isn't on the his ship becouse i'm his new first officer. Sharal looks the Lieutenant up and down , so sweet cheeks what do you around here?

"Well, I command my ship, rescue people, shoot bad guys, blew thing up. And in free time help with repairs on otherships" She look at Lynch again" Lieutenant Laphiel N`Ruri, COmmanding officer of USS Nausicaa, at your service"

Cdr. Lynch looks over to his Caitian friend , Sharal play nice we just got here . And anyway it looks like she could kick your ass Jamie says while waveing for Vahlda to bring him anouther beer. Well sweet cheeks are yal sore at me Sharal says his tail swishing back and forth .

"Well... if you need Admiral Danto, there is a quick way to check where he is" She swing her tail around and taped her combadge " Lieutenant N`Ruri to Admiral Danto. Sir, can you please come to second chance? You have two nice guests here"

No answer comes. Well guess it wasn't the quickest way laughs Sharal. Cdr. Lynch Looks over to the Caitian , Didn't i already tell you to be nice , the ice in he Commander's tone shows how annoyed he really is. Noticeing it Sharal quickly quiets down. Thank you for your help Lt. .....uh what was your name again?

"Its Laphiel N`Ruri Commander. And Major, maybe you care for a drink?" She turned to Lynch again"hmm Maybe he is not on station, or probaly he is with his wife or computer dont like me today" She tapped badge gain" Computer, PLEASE tell me location of Admiral Danto... uhm... Dave, please "

The computer's avatar appears and looks at you . NO . and she disappears again. Friendly computer , Cdr. Lynch says, oh sense they are too rude to introduce themselves. This Is gesturing to the Caitian Lt. Cdr Sharal and the one sucking back his second brew is Major Jamie Keys. Jamie sits his beer down and stands up and bows graciously . Well Lt. if Admiral Danto can’t be found how about the C.O of the Kalasnakov?

"It was preety friendly response. No EPS conduits exploed around, we werent covered in foam or water... And Lt Ford is usually aboard his ship. My chief should be around him. I can ask him to relay to Lt Ford to come here. Now What about a drink?"She jumped on the other side of counter and took 3 glasses

All three sit back with smiles on their faces.

"So any wishes?" She looked ak the nice collection of bottles" or may we settle for 'academy special'?"

Cdr. lynch just smiles nothin for me thanks . Jamie wonders over to the bar any blood whine back there? Sharal makes a disgusted face ugh how can you drink hat stuff? Jamie turns from the counter hey eah to his own. Vahlda comes out of the kitchen and looks at Laphiel you know Jonjah doesn't like it when other people come back here and you know how bad her temper is so scat!

*ALERT, ALERT Distress call from the Uss. Kalashnikov *Hearing the station go to red alert Cdr, lynch taps his combadge , Lynch to Lt. Cdr. Sooka . *Sir we already know and are firing up the engines up now .* Beam us to the bridge . The trio reappear on the bridge of the Rogue Shadow. And everyone heads to their stations. Helm detach from Serenity and make best possable speed to the Kalashnikov’s last known location. Sooka looks up from her station ready sir. Engage! And the Shadow is off.

(Baumer grins, after hearing the previous conversation and saying nothing, then watching the guys that just blew out of the bar.)

"Yep... just another normal day at serenity station... Computer alert all hands to rescue stations. Please inform Ops that I am on my way."

(A blue and amber glow comes off the walls as the computer sounds the rescue stations call. All hands scramble to their ships and stations. The computer follows the command to the letter, except Ops strangely recieves the message. "Admiral Baumer says he needs a tube of Bengay...")

"@#$% Computer...."

"oh well... "She tapped badge" Laphiel to brrridge..." And she dissapeared, rematerialising on the bridge if Nausicaa.
"Status rreport" She threw as soon as she regained hersenses

"Prrroceed" Ship slowly went of the station. as soon as undocked it sprinted full impulse toward kalashnikovs possition
"Situation?"
"Oberon and Rouge SHadow are beaming survivors"
"Good. Help them a little. How the firrre?"
"Seems to die out when they purged the atmosphere. Still no rresponse frrom brride?"
"No. here is one life form there"
"Captain to Rralph. Prepare to be beamed to Kalashnikov s brridge. take yuorrr medical box with you. we can have a severrre shock case"
'Yes captain. I am ready to be beamed"
"Ops, beam doctorr to Kalshnikov"
"Roger that. he is there"
"Rralph tell Lieutennant Forrrd to swith off the impulse drrrive. We arrre taking him to the tow" She turned around"
"Lock trrractors on Kalashnikow. Set currrse to rrrefit bay. 1/10 impulse. Prreparre technical teams in envirromental suits to beam to shuttle bay to find casue of firre and securrre it"

(After the whole situation has ended, baumer returns to the bar, still in his Hawaian garb.) I'm going to need a drink...
