We've been talking on another thread about whether there's a map of Serenity Station's surroundings and the Badlands and so on. I've just been searching the forum for anything about Serenity's location (using the "search within a domain" feature on AltaVista, handy thing sometimes). This is all I found..
I can't find any maps: if there was one, I've a nasty feeling it may have gone down with STOgeek.com. All I've found is this sketch-map of the Badlands, http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/File:Badlands_map.jpg , and this from the thread Soooo...about that whole war-thing...
That's all based on this galaxy map (the link in that thread doesn't work but I found one that does): http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads9/Star_trek_map2.jpg
I also definitely remember it being said that Serenity was "between Steel River and the Badlands", though I can't find that bit now.
There's also this site, I don't know if you're aware of it: https://malsmaps.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/sto-sector-maps-one-big-map-to-look-at/ And another page on the same site suggests that a day's travel at warp 7 or 8 would be very roughly 20 light years (one sector's width) - placing Serenity somewhere in Cardassia Sector, if it's 1 day from DS9.
If no other map's turned up, I could have a go at drawing one up based on that, just a rough one. Seeker, what do you think?

Also for example imagine yourself standing on the station promenade and you are looking out of the window you would be able to see the Badlands.
Serenity Station is located in the Faheena system there about and also approximately near by the planet Nivoch just to help with bearings.
