    We’re excited to announce three new Tier 6 starships! The first is an enhanced version of the Tier 5 Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser, called the Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]. This starship is available at Vice Admiral rank. The second is the Kolasi Siege Destroyer [T6], an improved version of the Tier 5 Guramba Siege Destroyer. This starship is available at Lieutenant General rank. Lastly, we have the Kara Advanced Warbird [T6]. This starship is an upgraded version of the Tier 5 Ha’apax Advanced Warbird and is available to Vice Admiral Romulan captains. Like our previous cross faction bundles, all three of these new ships have been given a 2410 visual update.

    Items and Abilities

    Console

    All three of these Tier 6 starships come equipped with the Supplemental Subsystems universal console. Activating this console substantially increases your starship’s maximum subsystem power levels for a short time. While active, incoming energy weapon attacks damage the attacker, and leech a small amount of the attacker’s subsystem power back to you. Additionally, you gain a Subsystem Overload Counter each time you are hit with an energy attack. After obtaining 20 counters you emit a devastating pulse of electrical energy which deals heavy damage to nearby enemies. Affected enemies have all of their subsystems knocked offline for a brief period.

    This console provides a passive bonus to all subsystem power levels.

    The console mod can only be equipped on Starfleet Dreadnought Cruisers, Advanced Warbirds or Siege Destroyers in any console slot.



    Starship Trait

    In addition, each of these starships can unlock the Subsystem Redundancies starship trait by achieving level 5 in their Starship Mastery. While Subsystem Redundancies is slotted, firing a Spinal Lance, Javelin or Beam: Overload I, II and III will trigger a shield heal, a shield hardness buff and will restore offline shields.

    Special Abilities

    All three of these starships have special abilities to create parity with one another. Below are special features found on ships in this bundle. Bolded items are new features not found in the previous tier version.

    Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]

    Can use the Console – Universal – Saucer Separation
    Found on the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit
    Built in Phaser Spinal Lance ability
    Kolasi Siege Destroyer [T6]
    1x Hangar Bay
    Built in Siege Mode ability
    Allows usage of the Javelin ability
    Kara Advanced Warbird [T6]
    1x Hangar Bay
    Can use the Console – Universal – Dual Vector Separation
    Found on the Haakona Advanced Warbird

    In short, we wanted to make sure each of these ships had a hangar bay, a built in attack ability and the ability to launch a pet or transform.



    Costumes

    Each starship comes with its own unique costume, but they can also use parts from lower tier ships within the same family.

    Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser

    The Yamato can use the Galaxy and Monarch costumes for free, and it can use the Venture’s costume if that starship is owned.

    Kolasi Siege Destroyer

    The Kolasi can use the Guramba’s costume for free.

    Kara Advanced Warbird

    The Kara can use the Ha’apax’s costume for free and it can use the Haakona’s costume if that starship is owned. In addition, owning the Kara Advanced Warbird unlocks costume options for the Ha’feh Assault Warbird and Ha’nom Guardian Warbird.



    Availability

    These starships are available in the C-store individually, or they can be found packaged together in the T6 Cross Faction Dreadnought Bundle.

    The Tier 6 Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser was built for battle with the Federation's current enemies in mind. It was heavily influenced by the advances made in the Andromeda Class Exploration Cruiser's design and has incorporated its state of the art systems to create a truly formidable starship.

    This starship features a Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Command specialist seat.

    The Dreadnought Cruiser is equipped with a massive Spinal Phaser Lance capable of dealing heavy phaser damage.

    The Tier 6 Kolasi Siege Destroyer was built upon the success of the devastating Nausicaan Guramba Siege Destroyer. Like its predecessor, it can enter Siege Mode, a battle configuration designed to destroy enemies quickly. The ship actually transforms from a nimble destroyer into a siege weapon. When in Siege Mode, the Kolasi diverts its power from Engines to Weapons. It also modifies all its energy weapons allowing them to drain a target's Weapon Power in order to charge up its massive Javelin Beam – a devastating disruptor weapon.

    This starship features a Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Command specialist seat.

    The Kolasi Siege Destroyer has a single hangar bay equipped with Nausicaan Stinger Fighters. These light craft are equipped with Disruptor Pulse Cannons and Micro Photon Torpedoes.

    We’re excited to announce three new Tier 6 starships. The first is an enhanced version of the Tactical Escort Retrofit, called the Valiant Class Tactical Escort [T6]. This starship is available for Starfleet players at Vice Admiral rank. The second starship is the Kor Bird-of-Prey [T6], an improved version of the B’rel Bird-of-Prey Retrofit. This starship is available at Lieutenant General rank for Klingon players. Lastly, is the Malem Light Warbird [T6], which is an upgraded version of the T’varo Light Warbird Retrofit. Like our previous cross faction bundles, all three of these new ships have received a 2410 visual update.

    Items and Abilities

    Console

    All three of these Tier 6 starships come equipped with the Warhead Module universal console. The Warhead Module contains a load of six torpedoes ready for simultaneous fire. Once fired, the system automatically reloads over time. At any time the system can be activated to fire as many torpedoes as are currently loaded.

    This console provides a passive bonus to projectile weapon damage.

    NOTE: The Valiant Class comes equipped with a Photon Warhead Module which can be equipped on any Tactical Escort. The Kor Class also comes equipped with a Photon Warhead Module, but it can only be equipped on Tier 5 or greater Birds-of-Prey. Lastly, the Malem Class is equipped with a Plasma Warhead Module, and it can only be equipped on Tier 5 or greater T’varo Warbird variants.



    Starship Trait

    Each of these starships can unlock the Withering Barrage starship trait by achieving level 5 in their Starship Mastery. While this trait is equipped, the duration of your Cannon: Scatter Volley is increased by 4 seconds.

    Costumes

    Each starship comes with its own unique costume, but they can also use
    parts from lower tier ships within the same family.

    Valiant Class Tactical Escort

    The Valiant Class comes with its own unique costume. In addition it can use the Defiant, Gallant, Gallant Refit, Vigilant and Vigilant Refit costumes for free, and it can use the Sao Paulo costume if that starship is owned.

    Kor Bird-of-Prey

    The Kor Class comes with its own unique costume. In addition it can use the B’rel and Koloth costumes for free, and it can use the B’Rotlh costume if that starship is owned.

    Malem Light Warbird

    The Malem Class comes with its own unique costume. In addition it can use the T’varo costume for free.



    Availability

    These starships are available in the C-store individually, or they can be found packaged together in the T6 Cross Faction Escort Bundle.

    We are pleased to announce that concurrent with the launch of the Valiant Class Tactical Escort (T6), we will be releasing an update to Star Trek Online’s Defiant-class model as well. This new model has been completely rebuilt to faithfully replicate the heroic filming miniature used on the television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

    To faithfully create the unique color scheme seen on the hull of the Defiant, we have added a new paint pattern for tactical escorts named “Defiant”. It is the default option for the Defiant preset but can also be combined with other patterns by using the Advanced menu in the Starship Customization screen.

    This update will be automatic and free for all versions of the Tactical Escort, including, of course the new Valiant class. Players already using the Defiant-class model on an existing ship may need to visit the tailor and select the “Defiant” preset in order for some of the new details to appear.

    The Defiant is a “tough little ship” that helped win the Dominion War in the 2370s and Tactical Escorts have proved just as vital to the Iconian War of 2410. Now we hope you enjoy another remastered Star Trek favorite as you and your crew embark into the New Dawn!

    As a defiant flyer, I approve this new skin. I had no problem with the old one, but I'm happy to get better looking skins. Doubt I'll get the tier 6 ships though.

    We’re excited to reveal the stats, items and abilities for three new Tier 6 starships: the Valiant Class Tactical Escort, the Kor Bird-of-Prey and the Malem Light Warbird. All three of these ships come equipped with a special console and can unlock a new starship trait at level 5 Starship Mastery.     TheTier 6 Valiant Class Tactical Escort is based upon the highly successful Defiant Class design.
    Unlike the Defiant, which was designed specifically to combat the Borg, the Valiant Class was built with the Federation's new enemies in mind.

    Starting this Thursday at 9AM PST, we’ll be featuring a promotion that will provide an extra bonus when opening a Research and Development Pack.

    Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser [Command Variant]

    Few starships are as menacing and massive as the Tier 6 Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser. It has impressive defensive and offensive capabilities.
    Since they began their campaign of devastation, their vicious hit-and-run tactics, combined with their inscrutable motives and strangely silent nature, have struck fear into the hearts of many species of the Alpha and Beta Quadrant. During conflicts with these silent enemies, much of their technology has been salvaged and repurposed for use in the fight against them and their mysterious allies.

    The Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser comes equipped with a single Oschu Shuttle hangar pet. These maneuverable light craft are larger than standard fighters and are built for damage dealing.     Console – Universal – Sheshar Assault Craft

    The Sheshar comes equipped with the Deploy Assault Vessel console. This allows the Sheshar to deploy its bottom half as an assault craft that can harass foes. This console can be equipped on any Elachi starship, however it will instead summon in the Sheshar Assault Craft if used on a ship other than the Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser.
    This console can be equipped on any Elachi vessel.

    Torpedo Barrage (Starship Trait)

    After achieving level 5 in your Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Torpedo Barrage starship trait. While equipped, your Torpedo: High Yield bridge officer abilities will cause you to queue up a bonus Torpedo: High Yield I. This can occur once every 30 seconds.

    We’re very excited to reveal the T6 versions of the Odyssey, Scimitar and Bortasqu’. Each type comes in three variants. Each variant of these powerful starships features a Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command Bridge Officer seat and has a unique console and Starship Trait.

    Availability

    After achieving level 5 in your Engineering variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Adaptive Hull Plating Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, activating any Hull Healing or Command Bridge Officer Ability will boost your maximum hull hit points for a short time. This effect stacks up to 3 times.



    Science Variants

    These variants feature the Dampening Wave Emitter Universal Console and the Check Mate Starship Trait.

    Super Charged Weapons (Starship Trait)

    After achieving level 5 in your Tactical variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Super Charged Weapons Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, firing a torpedo will provide a stack of the Super Charged buff. This buff provides a boost to directed energy weapon damage, critical hit chance and critical severity for a short time. This buff stacks up to 3 times.
