Minecraft

I just recently started playing Minecraft to give me something else to tinker with and help from getting completely burned out on STO so I was wondering - how many other Browncoats play with blocks and would a Firefly Fleet server be something worth looking into? I don't know what's involved with running a Minecraft server (or if anyone here already does) but it'd be nice having some friends to torment Creepers with, especially if they use Vent

I rented a Minecraft server for 6 months since it seems my computer can't handle more than myself. So far Garett and I have been mining and swimming in lava. Well, mostly Garett lol. If anyone wants to join us there's space for 10 people right now and Garett is working on adding a couple mods that won't mess up the overall game (teleporting to other players, increased chest inventory, minor things like that).

5 month old video, but the server is still up and running. You can download the world (3 month old update) from here. I downloaded the world map and have barely scratched the surface of the Enterprise-D. It's HUGE and completely fleshed out from the couple decks I've been on.

I sent you a PM but forgot to mention that I used the John Stewart texture pack when I built a few structures; that would explain why some paintings look odd (like the painting of a man on the outside of Fort Serenity - it should be a brown hanging banner. Also, I updated the server to Redstone 1.5 so some things don't look quite right until the texture pack creators and mods are updated as well. I can toss you a couple Ender Chests this weekend if you'll be around if you want.
