Re: The cure walkthrough
lol! Its one of the more difficult and time consuming of the STFs. However if you have a few hours to spare we can do it. I would really perfer to stack said STF with as many fleet members/vent users as possible. The reason is you really, really need to cordinate movments with your team.

Re: The cure walkthrough
WOW! That's... complicated heheheheh. I haven't done a ground STF, yet. I've done all the space based STF's on Normal and a couple of Elite's but no grounds of any sort, yet. What sort of equipment should one be packing before tackling even a Normal ground STF? Bear in mind ground pounding is NOT my strong suit (I'm a Sky/Ship Pilot at heart heheheheh).

Re: The cure walkthrough
For a ground STF like the cure you should equip yourself with an anti-borg weapon. A re-modulator, and armor and sheild suited for borg attacks. I have found that the Jem'hadar armor and shield (from the 2800) work quite well. You should also have equiped a slashing or stabbing weapon like a sword. This is in case the borg adapt to your weapon before you can re-modulate and they are right on top of you.

Re: The cure walkthrough
they can addpat event o melee but it's alot harder iv done a few ground stf, you want 2 nice ground weapons melee if you like but when they addapet it to pahser damage or tetryon if you have one anti proton and one phaser or one melee or tet you can switch, the remodulator you can replicate for a few EC
rember on ground mission kneeling you do more damge and aimed or zoomed in you do more damage that can often help, and when you do and stf you can get other items to help like geranades that stun borg

Re: The cure walkthrough
Well, eventually I'll have to get 'round to tackling 'em, at least on the KDF side, just so I can get the Honor Guard costume goodies that unlock with that set (I've seen the MACO costume but it's just not as impressive, IMO). But I'll always be a Ship's Capt., first and foremost (although that Cure walkthru shows that there's some ship to ship combat in at least that one STF... didn't know that).
Know what they call someone who sails a ship into battle?... Captain!
Know what they call someone who rides a mechanized unit into battle?... Commander!
Know what they call someone who flies into battle?... Pilot!
Know what they call someone who walks into battle with a rifle slung over their shoulder?...
...Cannon Fodder!

Now, Now we still have a few Marines on the station. They perfer to be called "Military personnel who are regarded or treated as expendable in the face of enemy fire."
