Wondering if anyone knows how to get to the asteroids where you mine for Dilithium? I went there the first time via a transwarp link that was available from the mission selection screen. However that no longer seems to be there. I've flown to the Bajor sector and looked everywhere but can't seem to find it. At least one toon has the mission and I've seen it available but no more transwarp link. If anyone knows how to get there would greatly appreciate directions.

Re: Dilithium Mining
In case anyone has this question in the future, fly to the Beta Ursae Block (same one where DS9 is located) and head for the Vlugta Asteroid Field in the Cardassia Sector. The field is just below and to the left of DS9 when looking on the map. Once there you'll get a prompt to "Go to Dilithium Mining Station.
That's it You'll get a bit less ore when mining outside of the event, but anything is better than nothing, right?

There is also a Ferengi ship parked perminantly beside the asteroid field in sector space, so you know you're at the right spot.

Re: Dilithium Mining
If you accept the mission via your journal thing, it should highlight where you have to go on the map. I think the transwarp option pops up as well, if you want to spend the credits.
The other bonus is that in the journal it'll show you a countdown timer for this, and most other dailies, to let you know when you're able to do it again.

I guess my question is, is it faster to do this or do other dailies?

Re: Dilithium Mining
Mining the rock is a fairly fast way to earn dilithium. However the yield is not as much as running the dailies. The best yield but the most time consuming is to run the Starfleet academy event. You should get there early as the event goes on more and more people arrive making getting those orbs pretty competivtive.

I have to admit that's one I haven't done yet... will have to give it a try, thanks!

Re: Dilithium Mining
The mining thing, even during the event, just doesn't net a lot of dilithium. It's easy, and doesn't take long, but the payout is pretty meh.
Academy event is pretty good in terms of pay out, but my favorite for making up a shortfall on my daily dilithium allotment is the mirror event. You can run it as many times as you can complete it in an hour, and each run awards 480 dilithium. You can do it at least 4 times in an hour with no trouble, I've gotten up to eight runs accomplished when I ended up with a good teams. So that's between 2-4k dilithium for an hour's worth of activity.
