how much different is the fleet excel from reg i'm not seeing alot though it is nicer then agin i'm going from a teir 5 ship to a fleet ship excel is not normaly a teir 5

The Advanced Heavy Retrofit is tier V.

The Fleet Excelsior is a fleet version of that. It's got the usual +10% hitpoints and an extra console. In this case it's a tac console.

It's the most DPS potential you can get out of a fleet cruiser, except for the fleet assault retro. Also has the best turn rate amongst the cruisers. But it's got slightly less hitpoints.

Dunno, it's not bad if you want a cruiser.

"The Investigate Officer Reports mission now requires completing only 1 qualified mission, has a 30 min cooldown, and rewards 960 Dilithium and 50 Fleet Marks."

That's a big change. The qualified missions are supposed to take at least 15 minutes, some of course will take longer. But, you do just one and you get 50 fleet marks plus 1k dil. And you can do multiple per day.

That's pretty huge, in terms of providing fleet marks (and dil) for the starbases. A lot of the foundry missions are pretty good, too. Some are more fun that even the regular episodes, and they're almost all more fun than just about anything you might have to do on new romulus ever.

This is big news indeed. I may start farming Dil again.

We have several big projects that need dilithium. If everybody ran that mission and gave the starbase half of what they take in it would go a long way.

May I suggest, since we have numerous big Dil projects, we all focus on finishing one specific one, then move onto the next specific one, rather than spreading them all out. That should in theory help us get the projects finished quicker.

i agree with that. do one at a time instead of spreading it all out. i personally think we should get Serenity to tier 3 first

For that starbase project, the klingons got a really nifty looking mural thing. I like that way better.

Project: Complete! Many of you will remember months ago there was a glitch that transported you down into the shuttle bay.

Yeeeah, I prefered it when that thing was covered, Standing on that gave me vertigo. And why are we putting holes in the floor of Serenity, anyway? Now if we could actually go into the shuttlebay, that would be different.

Starting this Thursday, May 9th, 2013, around 10AM PDT, previously run Fleet Starbase and Embassy Featured Projects will be available for fleets to slot and complete! If your fleet has missed out on a past project, now is your chance to upgrade the interiors of your holdings.

While we currently do not have an end date for this promotion, it will only be available for a limited time.

STARBASE FEATURED PROJECTS



#1 – Room with a View: Completing this project will remove the blast shutters from the Starbase interior, allowing you to see out into space.

#2 – Interior Designer: Completing this project will add plants, consoles, weapons and panels to Federation Starbases. Statues and a special symbol will be made available for Klingons.

#3 – Tribbles and Targs: Completing this project will add tribbles to Federation Starbases. Targs and targ beds will be made available for Klingons.

#4 – All Work and Some Play: Completing this project will add enhancements to the lounge area of Federation Starbases. The Operations area will be improved for Klingons.

#5 – History and Movement: Completing this project will add panels depicting the history of the Enterprise to Federation Starbases. Banners and transporter bay upgrades will be made available for Klingons.

#6 – High Security: Completing this project will add additional life to your starbase’s interior. Guards will be made available for Federation Starbases. Elite warriors will be made available for Klingons.

#7 – Where Decisions Are Made: Completing this project will add enhancements to the conference room of Federation Starbases. The fireplace section of the bar will be improved for Klingons.

#8 – For Relaxation: Completing this project will add a wall-length fish tank to Federation Starbases. Blood wine, table improvements and hunting trophies will be made available for Klingons.

#9 – Welcome Guests: Completing this project will add Morn and latinum traders to Federation Starbases. Morn and dancing girls will be made available for Klingons.

#10 – First One, Then the Other: Completing this project will add enhancements to the lounge area of Federation Starbases by adding a dance floor and DJ. The conference room will be improved for Klingons.

#11 – Works of Art: Completing this project will add mannequins displaying historical uniforms to Federation Starbases. Weapon trophies, a floor logo and wall mural will be made available for Klingons.

#12 – Staffing: Completing this project will add additional population to your starbase’s interior. Ferasans will appear for Klingons, while members of Starfleet will staff up with Exocomps.

#13 – Majestic Construction: Completing this project will enhance the structure of your starbase’s interior. Federation Starbases will have their main area improved with the addition of a portal to the lower section, and a new form of staircase and railings with a Sword of Kahless theme will be added to Klingon Starbases.

#14 – Museum Quality: Completing this project will add decorations to your starbase's interior. Special banners and a United Federation of Planets logo will be made available for Federation Starbases, and mannequins displaying historical uniforms will be made available for Klingons.




EMBASSY FEATURED PROJECTS

#1 – Nanov, Nanov: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. A nanov vivarium will open up in the Research and Development section of your embassy, along with some infant nanov.

#2 – Belongs in a Museum: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. Artifacts found throughout New Romulus will be put on display in the main lobby of your embassy, as well as a monument to the Sword of the Raptor Star.

#3 – Added Elegance: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. The stairway sections of the embassy will be enhanced with fish tanks and seating areas.

#4 – Enhanced Intelligence: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. Display screens and a holographic system readout will be added to Ops.

#5 – Green Thumb: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. Ivy will be made attached to pillars throughout the embassy, along with some additional plant life.

#6 – Let the Light Shine In: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. The embassy shuttlebay will be expanded, including the addition of an open roof.

#7 – Visiting Dignitaries: Completing this project will add enhancements to your Fleet Embassy on New Romulus. Romulan delegates and embassy guards will be made available.
