    Good day ladies and gents.
I'm not quite sure what I just boarded here.
From what I am seeing, I believe I am in the midst of Firefly RP with a little STO gaming and some SW:TOR also.
I'm not much of an online RP guy, mostly a hack n slasher. In LOTRO I would always "RP" by constantly telling my kin to get out of the inn and kill orcs and ogres before we were all overrun.
Any input as to whether my first impressions are correct or not would be appreciated.

Some of Us Rp and i personally love it that what i frist jioned the fleet for did not even know a computer game was coming out but it is not required if you feel you want to RP cheak out the part of the form called the RP academy, iv talked to some of the other leader recently and ones iv talked to agree to do away with required people to go through the academy to join the rp's, but but if you like to hop in take a look at some of the one other have done or the general guidelines

The backbone of the Fleet is STO, followed by TOR and light RPing. As you advance you will find more features of this fleet will become availble to you. When you were offically invited last night the majority of us were running STFs. Which is why the fleet chat was so quiet. Also it was Sunday not typically one of our more active days.

Did that clear anything up for you? If your still a little fuzzy I would be happy to answer any questions you have!

Your impression would be more or less correct.

Do I still get to say I'm new? I'm going to say I am anyway just because I'm part of the fairly recent wave of recruits rather than the rest of these guys who've been around for years. From the perspective of a new(ish) person, I'd say this group seems held together more by the forums than in-game activity, which I like. We may not always have time to log onto STO or TOR & run something, but we can always hop on the forums for five minutes to make a post & still be an active part of the group. I wouldn't say RPing is mandatory, however. I've been slacking on doing it myself due to a severe case of writer's block, and no one's even said a word about it to me.

If you're dead set against RP, you won't enjoy this fleet as much as you could, but in the end whether or not you enjoy the company of the fleet's members & activities is probably more important.
