If only

This was the version of a scene they used for an episode called Facets in which Jadzia gets to meet her previous hosts by transferring their memories into her friends' bodies.




But according to the background information (third bullet point) for the episode, they had to reshoot this particular scene because Avery Brooks was too creepy in the original take. Considering he did such a good job in the toned down shoot, I'd love to get to see the original version. That footage is probably still out there somewhere.

I dunno everytime I see that scene and he says "Hello Jadzia" my skin crawls. I can't imagine him more creeoy. I will look around and see if I can't find the orginal clip hiding somewhere.

I love trills in DS9 when they filled them out, the old ones in next gen not so cool but i love them here, the many lives and this is not the only time they have jadzia or ezri meet old host. erzi had a ritual to bring then out and it would talk to her and follow her around like a ghost. Some time in the RP may have to do some thing like this with dekkar.

and i love how ben calles her old man becuse he knew that last host who was an old man. and jadzi is more then just girl shes a fighter she marries worf

I had to go back & watch that again. Damn he was good.

Lastline, if you can find that somewhere...I don't think there'd even be an award that could match up to the super sleuthing such an effort would require, except the privilege of getting to see that performance.
