what do you think of the cryptic store?

hello guys well one of the things i been looking at is the cryptic store lately.

I have noticed how you have to pay a lot of points as well for the content that is supposed to be already in the game. well most of that content is like purchasing a new game every time especially the ships.

I personally think at least half of what they put in there should be free. who wants to purchase a game then have to pay out of there pocket for more content ? i could under stand paying for 2000 for maybe a bundle like the last one they posted for the nx class ship.

I would love to hear your opinion on this if it interests you. cause this is one of the reasons i stopped subscribing to the game again. i hate paying for game content i should be able to earn in game.

Honestly I've never had an issue with micro-transactions from any in-game items.

Just like anything else, if you want it bad enough you'll pay any price for it.

And it's not like anything in the C-store is a game changer. It's mostly uniforms (costumes), ships and frivolous things of that like. With the possible exceptions of the Caitian species or the Grumba ship... now if they ever offered the Uber Phaser pistol of Awesome Winningness then I might have a problem with the content of the C-store.

Hrm I think the could reduce the amount of crptic points for some things as some of it seems a bit much but I gess its where they make money besides the the stuff in the criptic store is just extra stuff really.

I don't have any particular problem with paying for the stuff there, as it's another source of revenue for them to continue improving the game overall, and I don't absolutely have to have anything there (though I have paid for a few things).
That said, it would be nice if they maybe slowly awarded some cryptic points over time where us cheapskates could eventually get some of the things we're on the fence about paying for.
