Daleks, an explanation of

Many of you in game know that I'm helping a friend (who may be very misguided in this venture) to build a Dalek, but are wholly unaware of just what a Dalek is; so to that end here is what the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has to say about Daleks:

I thought the Darleks were the Timelord's arch enemies in Doctor Who.... EXTERMINATE.... EXTERMINATE!!!!!!!

Well, yes. But don't you think they should be mentioned in the guide in case you find yourself hitchhiking around in it? I would rather know to avoid them, at least so I don't accidentally go up and put 4 quarters in expecting a soda.
