Not being a fan of the comic, and only going by the previews, I skipped The Watchmen at the movies and didn't plan on seeing it; however, I read a few reviews of the writer and the director and decided to watch the 180 minute directors cut version last night. Wow. It was a beautiful movie and the effects, while playing second to the story, were good. But 3 hours was way too long for this story. As the topic says, how did you come to be a Brown Coat? I myself originally hated the idea of FireFly. I could not rationalize the old west feel to a scifi show. It reminded me too much of the old Show Earth 2. That is untill one day i caught a 15 minutes of the show by accident. Suddenly i was hooked, and now it stands as one of my favorite SciFi Series. So I turn off Dragonage for a bit, and I turn on tv. Red Belt, with Chiwetel Ejiofor is on, and I start to think of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Well today nasa succesfull tested first stage of Ares I ( and booster stage of Ares V). Which sterts their quest to revive saturn /apollo program and bring man back on moon. Interesting is that Ares is going for EOR ( Earth orbit Randevous) setup , contrary to apollo/satturn signle launch setup. also second stage of Ares I/V use modified J-2 engines same as saturn, not to mention that 1st stage of Ares V is modified Saturn V first stage with engines from Delta IV...

ok, so my life's ambition is to head the ocean colonies project. It's mobile, half submerged, and has a space launch platform. As well, it has a school, music hall, science labs, and quarters for everyone. It needs to be able to hold up at high seas (such as a tropical storm), be self sufficient, and bio-friendly.
