As the topic says, how did you come to be a Brown Coat? I myself originally hated the idea of FireFly. I could not rationalize the old west feel to a scifi show. Well today nasa succesfull tested first stage of Ares I ( and booster stage of Ares V). Which sterts their quest to revive saturn /apollo program and bring man back on moon. Interesting is that Ares is going for EOR ( Earth orbit Randevous) setup , contrary to apollo/satturn signle launch setup. also second stage of Ares I/V use modified J-2 engines same as saturn, not to mention that 1st stage of Ares V is modified Saturn V first stage with engines from Delta IV...

For those who didn't know, the glass discs on top of the transporter platform in TNG used to be the discs you /stood on/ back on TOS. It's my understanding that once the sets for the Enterprise-D were struck, the discs were sent over to the Voyager transporter set. I don't know what's become of them since. I don't believe they were in Enterprise (the series), and I made sure to pay extra-special attention to the transporter room in the new movie to see if I could spot them. No such luck. So yeah...where ...
